Well I have covered up all my bases. I am getting both. Yes I know I am crazy. But I love both my 360 and PS3. I am getting the 360 version from Aussie Land. While I am getting PS3 version from ebay. Ola GTA4 I am coming:D
Wait a sec. how are we saving 70$. PS3 in store is around 678 + the game is 114$. So that makes a total of = 792. This package is 750, Australia is saving 42$ not 70$:|

I think they are doing some maintenance work. In order to ensure GTA4 is lag free online, so relax.

Its kind a odd, at the same time Microsoft & Sony aren't really concerned about which version sells more. Its the number of consoles they ship. If GTA4 sells all 11 million on PS3, it would benefit PS3 customers and would benefit PS3 to create a repute it once had and it will help the publisher. But will it help them make big bucks, in some way yes. But its the consoles that both Microsoft & Sony are thinking about. How many units of consoles can each one sell. The result will be clea...

Well I may be wrong, but I guess Microsoft wasn't sure if 360 will turn out to be such a successful console, since after original xbox was a NO NO. They didn't really thought of making the console future proof. They thought oh well release the console a year ahead of Sony, then 3-4 years later when PS3 is still infant, release another console that is better then ps3. No standard hard drive was a step backwards from microsoft. I don't get it, who the hell makes these decisions in there company...
By sharing of technology they don't meant sharing your game assets, but by sharing there technology, they can overcome many hurdles in development process.

Hopefully Feb-March 2009 or may be fall 2009. They haven't announced it, but hopefully it will come out next year.
Well lets see how they come up with call of duty 5, I do realize its pretty darn hard to top call of duty 4, but it isn't impossible. Lets all hope, everything turns out well for them.

Yes & I think thats the difference between the two companies approach. Sony will give consumers choices, while Microsoft will try to enforce there product.
Well thats because by the time they bring the proper digital download setup they will have a new xbox console in the market;)
Digital Downloads will get common as the time goes by, but right now, I don't see it happening in the next 2-3 years at the very minimum. Why because we don't have the infrastructure that supports such a system. How many of you will download a 50 gig or 100 gig movie on your current internet setup? Plus if you are paying the same cost as you are paying with the physical medium then whats the point?
I just saw the video on gametrailers it was from 2006. I really liked it. Unfortunately not all games are meant to see the light:(
Well I do agree with you upto a point. Sony does announces its games and other features too early. Killzone 2, Getaway 3, Eight Days and Home are just examples of Sony announcing the software too early and then disappear. Either don't show anything or show something that is going to release within a year or two time.
Yeah this game will definitely won't break any barriers in Graphics. But hopefully the gameplay will be good enough. Graphics are not as important as gameplay. But the game shouldn't be darn ugly:p I will wait for the reviews. I may pick it up if it gets around 8ish.
By the way I remember in an interview Haze director said "Oh we are pushing PS3 really hard in some places". Insomniac should open an institute for PlayStation development:p
