I believe it's the first shooter to support anything over 60 or 70 players.
MMO's are different as they don't take into account trajectory of bullets and physics and many other things this game seems to offer. So it truly is revolutionary...

My biggest annoyance in games is how easy they have become. I welcome a game like Motorstorm or Ninja Gaiden every so often just to remember how hard gaming once was and can still be. When was the last time you saw a "Game over"? or lost your last life? I hate the lack of challenge anymore in games... DC Universe, Ratchet and clank, MAG, Resistance was nothing close to average. Even the "Numbers" presentation was amazing using LBP and sackboy to demo. Home and now video DL with some major studios on board....

You know what gets me about this. The guy from square at the press conference kept saying "the 360 will get a version of FF13".... If Rockstar said "the 360 is getting a version of GTA" What would that tell you?
Until I see confirmation saying they are the same or identical I will be skeptical...

I don't get it. I know this was supposed to be one of the big games this year but from watching gameplay vids and such I feel kinda disappointed myself. It looks like they took some good elements from some games that usually work well... I don't know where they messed it up though.

I for one will not go back and beat all my games again. I might load up a few at the end and get a few trophys for completion but no. Not me. I have currently about 20 PS3 games and 14 PSN titles... I love Burnout but I worked too hard to get my Gold Cars and won't do that again... Along with many other games...
Main reason. Networking. Online you may get into a game of COD and find that your lagging and such. Probably because the host is on WiFi or has a worthless internet provider. With networking there is no slow down or lag. apart from that.... /shrug.

I agree man. The reason there are no people FYI is they would lose their E rating if they had people in the game i.e. getting hit by cars. Also I feel it would take away from the core of racing and not killing spree... Kinda makes me wonder what they are gonna do when they introduce motorcycles in the Xpac... Good review
Well... I can agree and disagree. How was Warcraft, Starcraft or Diablo super innovative or "That much better" Then other competition? Starcraft I can see to an extent. They did a really good RTS but still... I played World of Warcraft for about a year and a half total... It is cookie cutter and simplified to attract a mainstream audience of carebears and not a hardcore atmosphere... They are in it for the money and do that very well.
All I am saying is they have a tradition of releasing in March. I would think March 09 would be the best bet as of right now. if March 2010 then boo hoo for me but I am sure it will be well worth it. If it releases otherwise then sure but I just have a feeling it wont.
