Why no RA3 on the PS3? Too many other good games to compete with in the next few months so it is not worth trying imho.

We didn't have live coverage of gaming events streaming via the internet when we were playing NES and Sega Master Systems.
We didn't have huge forum areas where we could rant and rave without fear of reprecution or pissing off friends.

Just curious Steve. How old are you? For me the golden age was SNES but I wonder if it has to do with age or just preference. I personally hated when the first 3D games started coming out. They were incredibly generic and dull for a long time. Now thwy are amazing. I am 26 right now. First console was an intelevison then a NES. What was yours?

I rarely come to this site anymore. I look through the forums and get bored with the back and forth. I posted one thing today and thats it. I haven't posted in about a week. This is the best the community has to offer. True gamers posting news for eachother constantly. Still all I see is QQ everywhere. If make up a contract I will give you my entire paycheck for a year if you can beat it in 3 hours first time through. It is not possible to beat that fast. 5-6 Maybe on an extreme speed run. I took my time and it lasted me about 12 hours. Only cause I took everything in. You fail at posting. get over yourself. You are a moron.

They will probably do it for all first party titles I would assume. It would be cheap and easy. Lets not forget Sony is a huge hardware company though. They will get eveything super cheap. However BFBC and others from EA or Ubi or whatever I have no idea what they will be doing... World at War? Probably hosted only I would assume...

Yes you can use the Sixaxis function with the DS3. It says Sixaxis on the controller.
Lair has a patch to use the joysticks now as well. So you can choose to fly how you like.
All they do is stack PS3's for servers. They link them and use them as a "Hive" mind.

So really it's not all that expenive for them... Not cheap but still you can see them.
If they dd someone would go off into an unfinished area and you would see a million 360 fans saying "OMGZ MAG WILL SUCKZORZ SO HARD!!! PS3 FAILS. WE HAVE GEARS AND....GEARS OH AND FABLE AND... FABLE... PS3 SUCKS" Who cares atm. It's coming and as long as it looks even as good as Warhawk I'll be happy(Judging by this shot it looks as good as COD4 though to me) I can't wait.
I played it. I found it dull and laggy with a cliched story and weak characters I didn't feel attached to... I know I am one of very few who feel the game was lame but there were so many planets you either A. Couldn't go to or B. Were damn near desolate. I had incredible lag when there were more the 4 or 5 enemies on screen at any given time. No checkpoint's at all so if you die you get dropped back 5 or 6 hours of game (Happened to me 2 times) Also I feel there is way too much Sci Fi crep on...

No it's more like comparing World of Warcraft to Lineage 2. Totally different to MMO gamers just as Gears and Resistance differ to me and you greatly but to your average Wii gamer looking to upgrade this christmas who knows little outside of swinging a remote they will look similar just how most MMORPG's might look similar to gamers who don't play them...

I dunno. I like BF Bad Company and Burnout Paradise. I am looking forward to mirrors edge, Dead Space and many others... EA sports I don't much like but a lot of their more main stream story games ain't too bad IMHO.

I just don't get it... Why wait a month? Why not have shown us everything at E3... I know you want to keep somethings secret but isn't E3 like the "Big" Show? I can see some RPG's for TGS or some other stuff for Liepzig but WTH? E3 is supposed to be "The show"...
Xi just FYI the thing that Bungie did was make FPS control schemes work for consoles. It was the first game to perfect it. The health system and puzzles were truly nothing compared to games that had come before and nothing original. The reason it is so highly acclaimed is because Combat Evolved made the controls work and did it very well. Hence why halo was so praised. Now it is just a "Cash Cow"
