"That's only because the government has been stepping in around the world... If none of that would've happen, you bet your azz their would be some (especially in Sea of thieves)"
lol you're cute. Stepping in around the world? You mean like a couple governments that still haven't done anything?
Edit: Also Sea of Thieves is also getting cosmetic MT's eventually.
@Trooper
You doubt what? That 3 of my friends have been waiting to buy Xbox's until there was enough reason to and SoD2 (which they loved the first) is finally their tipping point? We all get to play co-op together now in a game we all loved.
The content map sounds good! Lets just hope the content is actually meaningful tho!
Except this game has 0 MT's or any type of GaaS, but nice try I guess.
I think that means they're pretty much free to do what they want on any platform outside of SoD. MS doesn't own Undead Labs, but if they have a good relationship with them then it doesn't make sense to stray unless their games start to bomb or a fall out happens like with Remedy.
" What makes CD3 unique with that mode?"
Full cloud city destruction since that is locked off for the online mode anyway. I highly doubt they would be able to do 1v99 though considering they're struggling just to get it working with a couple people.
@Thatguy
Agreed. That's why I don't understand the pressure people are putting on it and State of Decay 2. These are mid tier games that are just fun to play. They aren't meant to be big AAA system seller type games.
They will never live up to that type of expectations haha Crackdown 3 will never compete with God of War or Spider-Man, but it doesn't mean it's a crap game. Well... that remains to be seen still, but I really enjoyed the ...
Never knew him or his work, but I hate seeing someone struggling through cancer and being stripped from his family and loved ones at such a young age :(
@Dragonknight
It's just not my type of game tbh
The only one of their games I somewhat enjoyed was Heavy Rain, but besides the twist nothing else about the game was good to me. Same with Telltale games and the like. I have played a couple, but nothing I would write home about.
I have a few friends buying a Xbox more for State of Decay 2 then Crackdown 3 tbh
Crackdown 3 is just a fun mid tier game, much like State of Decay 2... not exactly system sellers in and of themselves.
I have a feeling when it gets shown again at this E3 there will be much more polish on the gameplay. Besides the glitches and not sharp visuals, the actual gameplay looked like classic, fun Crackdown.
I'll play all of those (well, besides Detroit lol) and still play Crackdown 3, Halo 6 and Gears 5. It's nice not being a blind fanboy, maybe you should try it out sometime?
i'm almost hoping they aren't diving right into Halo 6. Let it breathe. Halo 5 SP left a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths so a good story focused spin off like Reach or ODST would be good right now. That way they have more time to plan Halo 6 and really nail the story and perfect the already great Halo 5 MP.
I don't care if its Native or Checkboard. Just give me a smooth constant 60fps!
Ryse, for a launch game, and especially on the the Xbox One was very impressive.
Edit: But GoW easily beats it since it looks amazing and still has a very large scope unlike Ryse.
Not broken, but a little rough around the edges. But the game was still super fun and engaging so it was easy to look over some things.
I don't think anyone is hyping this up to contend with AAA titles. SoD and Undead Labs has never been a AAA game/dev. They are a mid tier dev who put out a fantastic Xbox Live Arcade game last gen and we are looking forward to its sequel.
No, the game can be played completely offline.
How is it not a sequel? 3 maps the size of the first games map, over double the amount of personality traits for the AI, more building and crafting options, more world events etc.
@AZRobot
Diving in as in just getting right to Halo 6 and not doing a spinoff type game first. 343i already said Halo 6 will not be at E32018, but they still have something to show. Unless it's just an announcements of the revitalized Halo show, I'm thinking they have some sort of spin off in the works since they have to have been working on something for these 3 years.
