I guarantee you Nier and Hellblade, while still making a profit, will NEVER see a profit like a game with MT's. Its unfortunate, but that's the world we live in. Publishers invest money and want the most return and MT's do that.

Indeed, they had an initial push like they always do in the beginning with some good 3rd party game variety and then a handful of first party. Investing NOW we probably won't see any games from those new studios until next Gen.

Yeah Until Dawn I just couldn't get into. It was kinda boring and predictable and by the end you're choices basically just boiled down to who ran out of the house in the end.
Until Dawn wasn't my cup of tea, but Until Dawn: Rush of Blood was really good in VR. Hopefully they nail this game also.

Absolutely. Neir and Hellblade are definitely at the top of my 'best of 2017' list for sure. That being said they aren't exactly very long and one or MAYBE 2 play through's is all you need to be done with it. So of course they will lose player engagement and with the lack of MT's any extra revenue besides some DLC or something. So you can see why these bigger publishers want to create online components with MT's.
