I wouldn't mind a spinoff. Like a Xcom styled Gears would actually work really well since the game is already focused on a heavy cover system.
Destiny has already blown their reputation. Unfortunately they signed with one of the worst Publishers for a game that could have been something amazingly special.

I'm more inclined to believe the original post. Why would StoryLabs of all people post a fake page on their site stating this? They have no motive to lie about their projects. I'm sure the truth is that this just was an early leak that they had to take down and this unnamed MS employee is just covering their tracks. Even if The Coalition is only doing Gears doesn't mean they aren't working on a Gears universe spinoff.
Yes they were Black Tusk until they WILLINGLY accepted taking on the Gears of War franchise. MS didn't force them to do it. Gears is awesome so shush your face.

Halo 6 will not be coming, but I have a feeling we will be seeing some sort of Halo spin off. 343i already confirmed that Halo 6 won't be this year, but said they have something of a surprise in store.
