SCEA has already announced that they're going to keep the MLB 14 servers up longer after the outcry that occurred when the server shutdown was announced.
Good to see that they're listening to the fans.
The purchase of a system is not just based on current exclusives but also on the promise of exclusives to come. I think that's played a big role in the success of PS4.
People know big exclusives will be coming from studios like Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Media Molecule, Sucker Punch, Guerilla Games, Polyphony Digital, Quantic Dream, etc and that factors in to their decision to invest in PS4. Same goes for any console with an established track record.
While I think the servers should definitely be up longer. You're totally wrong about how long SCEA keeps the servers up.

It's nice to have your faith rewarded for a change. For awhile, I was going through an existential crisis. I thought I'd never again see a 90+ Meta on a new console game that didn't start with Nintendo haha.
Oh thank god this game was well recieved. I don't think I could've taken another AAA disappointment after the beating that The Order took haha.

I doubt we'll ever see Tomb Raider DE on PS+. The PS3 version was already on plus and then there's the whole Xbox/crystal dynamics relationship.

I've never seen a game MORE maligned pre-release than The Order. 95% of N4G articles about this game were pure Anti-hype. So again, I don't know what you're yapping about.

I predict a 7 point something from IGN for The Order and watch them bust The Order's balls in terms of story and voice acting while they praise Evolve for its handful of varied lines and AMAZING characters.

Tomb Raider seems unlikely since it was on PS3 ps+. Also I imagine the sequel exclusivity (timed or otherwise) makes it less likely for Sony to pay to promote TR.
