It's hardly guaranteed that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be a 90+. The first game scored a 92 on metacritic but Chronicles X scored 84 (still a great score). I wouldn't be surprised if Chronicles 2 is closer to the 84 as it seems they've made this game in a more condensed time span. It's only been two years since X came out.
Assuming there are enough worlds I think it's likely that Odyssey scores as well or better than Breath of the Wild's incredible sco...
Isn't Bayonetta already playable on XB1 (backwards compatible)? I think they even gave it out free on Games with Gold.
The fact that it's a local multiplayer machine (comes with two controllers, a bunch of split screen games) has been a much bigger factor than the portable aspect. I almost exclusively play it in docked mode.
@Lexhazard79
Nintendo foot the bill for Bayonetta 2 and owns the rights to that particular game. I doubt they'd give platinum the green light for a multiplatform port.
Hopefully Best Buy doesn't cancel my order. I bought 1 on 2 different orders. One for myself and the other for my little nephews.
I think BOTW will have a long lasting impact on the future of open world games in the way that it allows you to interact with your environment and the physics involved. It's not my favorite game of all time but I do think it's an important game. You're going to see a lot more fully climbable environments in the years to come.
Shied away from having multiple games in the same series? I wouldn't call 5 super Mario games and 5 legend of Zelda games shying away.
I agree they should start bringing 3ds games to Switch but I completely disargree that they should charge more for them if they're essentially the exact same experience. Unless the switch version comes with something extra that proves that they've really put some thought and effort into it then keep the price the same. Otherwise you're just asking for trouble, Super Bomberman R comes to mind when it comes to Nintendo Switch Up/overcharging. Besides by keeping these prices lower I ...
I played them all for the first time with the Uncharted Collection so my views may be a bit more biased against the older games. Haven't played Golden Abyss.
1. Uncharted 4
2. Uncharted 2
3. Uncharted 3
4. Uncharted 1
There's going to be a demo of this releasing on the Nintendo Switch eShop very soon.
Most countries that claim to be communist are actually fascist and just use communism as a cover to rob their citizens. Soviet Union, North Korea, China. Communism requires that power and possessions be shared amongst the people/workers but look at any supposed Communist country and you'll find a military dictatorship there.
The ONLY thing holding me back from getting Splatoon 2 is the lack of split screen multiplayer. I don't really play online and right now I just want more experiences I can play on the couch with my friends. That's my favorite thing about the switch.
They must be feeling pretty confident of what they have to show if they're adding this on to the Tokyo Game Show, Playstation experience and almost certainly something at the Video Game Awards.
plus Ni No Kuni 2
Don't forget Ni No Kuni 2!
Colin's whole persona was built around being stubborn and arrogant. For god's sake he had a show called, "Colin Was Right" that was just a soap box for him to say "I told you so." Which is fine, that's his prerogative. The only thing that bothered me about Colin was the hypocrisy of when he'd call out the Internet for being closed minded and overly sensitive while simultaneously exhibiting those same traits whenever he was challenged.
I can't get this quote out of my head. "Any man who must say, 'I am the king' is no true king."
Yeah it's not like a month ago a bunch of right-wingers were trying to get an SNL writer fired because of a joke she tweeted about Trump's kid.
Well we've already heard a bunch of complaints about the game running at choppy frame rates from people who have played it. It's even evident in the trailers and gameplay we've seen. While frame rate is not a deal breaker and sure there's time to optimize, it's clear the Wii U will have at least some trouble running breath of the wild.
I'll have to take your word on it. No way I'm watching anymore trailers this close to launch. I've been sold on this game since it was first shown.
