I agree with everything you've said there and fee exactly the same way. One thing though: shooting racists is the only reason I bother to play ;)
Considering many consider the UK as one of the strongest, most innovative games development regions, it's interesting that, actually, most are risking 'dumbing down'/homogenising their games to please the broadest audience - that's not to say it can't be done - ie LBP
I won an award! Finally, some recognition for all my hard work! I'd like to thank the academy and its honored fellowship, and of course, I'd like to thank GAM3R for his nomination. Without him I wouldn't be where I am today.
Let the name of the site confuse you. This N4G is a forum which has very little to do with news.
You can't count.
Misunderstand what N4G actually IS. N4G is a forum. That's it. No more, no less. The 'Stories' are just thread titles, and if they provide a good talking point, then they do well, of not, they don't.
Articles like this are good because they get people talking and look; talking nicely! Everyone throws in their own insights and the world of gamers is a happy place. People take this stuff far too seriously. It's all supposed to be fun.
If ...
Nope.
@Urmomlol You speak for everybody? Wow man, that's some responsibility. Do me a favour and tell them all they're awesome. From me. Cheers bud.
Doesn't imply in any way that any previous Uncharted game has had zombies in it.
It merely says it doesn't want to see any in the next game, because that's the trend with everything these days.
;)
Is clearly a create-em-up - therefore it is after a chunk of the market currently dominated by LBP. They may not be in direct competition, but their USPs are identical
People who quit (read: people who are selfish enough to think their enjoyment is more important than everybody else's), they're going to hate this.
Honest players who stay with it - most of us I think - this is a good thing. I despise quitters because they ruin the game for everyone and have absolutely no concept of 'other people'.
1. By your own admission it doesn't have dirt tracking; the article says 'Dirt Tracking' not 'Cars Getting Dirty' which loads of games have.
2. Head tracking; not straight out of the box on hardware everyone owns.
3. 1000 cars has never been done before, dingbat.
4. The article actually states 'On console' when talking resolution and even mentions the higher resolutions available to PC owners. Seriously - go read i...
It doesn't. If you have a copy of the game, you can go check that right now if you like. Also, RE soundtracks, the article says 'Custom Playlists' not just reeling off music from your archive, but putting specific soundtracks together for specific races etc.
Metal Gear Solid 4; it's exactly the same game as Metal Gear on the MSX, just in 3D and at a slightly higher resolution.
In fact, Uncharted 2 is just a rezzed-up version of the Victorian Hoop And Stick.
:P
Is an awesome idea... I'd literally HAVE to watch that.
Sounds like quite a poewerful Fable III character designer to me
Crap comment from an ignorant individual.
A completely different article. Check next time.
Perchance holding your fingers in your ears and singing 'LALALALALALALALALALALAAAA AAA'?
"Avoid reading it".
Bloody hilarious.
It's better you're only ever told what you WANT to hear.
I agree. It does seem odd that it's in 'Nam, but what's on show is Arctic-style, or industrial.
