Got to love co-op in games. Hopefully they'll do a good co-op mode here.

Sounds good, although the second game was a bit rubbish. Hopefully now it's in the hands of the old developer it'll be great again

Actually, NowGamer aren't on Metacritic for one good reason: Many of their reviews come from their (Imagine Publishing's) magazines, which have Metacritic entries of their own.

Separate reviewers on separate formats reviewing two versions of the game are entitled to score it differently and in fact it's only because YOU don't understand the reviewing process that you have fabricated this issue.

If you read NowGamer's review policy, it'...

There isn't, and if there's two separate people reviewing two different versions of the game, for heaven's sake, use conjoined twins, affixed to one another at both hemispheres of the brain!

And balls.

As you are really "awful" at actually READING articles. It says in plain English that the idea is not serious. It makes a big fat joke out of it. Learn to read.

Not with your choices, because those are personal and perfectly valid, but because, yeah, it's just their opinion and it seems quite balanced.

Has so much great content like this. They have access to pretty much everyone in the entire industry, past and present. It's just a shame that the only content of theirs that makes it high on N4G are the opinion pieces and top tens.

There's a real treasure trove of stuff like this on the site, from just about every important figure in the industry. Great read.

Agree, because it's actually labeled as an opinion piece. ;)

Anyone just think it's really nice to have developers still out there willing to admit their mistakes and not speak only in PRese? I do.

The alternative is flat, boring, dishonest answers. Give Peter some credit. The guy is an absolute legend.

Quite right! Bubbles to you.

Because he's saying 'designed by' and he is the sole designer, he's kicking himself more than anyone else, but yeah, I can see how someone may take that the wrong way.

Oops, Peter. Oops.

Can't approve it either...

Oh, wait.. it IS my own submission. :P

Are getting all bent out of shape, but if they read the article, they'd see that they guy clearly doesn't favour one console over the other. In fact, he primarily appears concerned for his fellow PS3 gamers that they won't get to enjoy the same experience in the same way he has and cherishes dearly.

Grow up, people and try reading the article before slamming it, and yes... that means reading the text, not just the headlines. Hard work I know, but try it; you might...

It was IGN who originated that story, and Yamauchi himself who continued with the ambiguity. If you read the story, you'll see that once this ambiguity was clarified by Sony, the story was corrected and NowGamer is one of a dozen or more sites which made the same assumption based on what was said during the GT5 presentation.

Just thought you might like to know. ;)

He wasn't... he played on normal difficulty - it says so in the review. Go ahead and buy it if you don't believe. Just look around at some other reviews; they're all saying the same thing.

Me personally? I finished the game in three hours and seven minutes, so honestly? I think this guy's being generous if anything.

Finished this game in 3 hours and seven minutes on normal difficulty. I don't consider myself to be the most amazing gamer and I did not rush through it. The reviewer is spot on and if anything, conservative.

Isn't it a bit soon to be re-imagining a classic?
