Yeah imagine if you see the kz2 commercials now, and you say wow I want that game, so you set aside 60bucks for it, then all of a sudden a week before the game is released you see a new commercial for the snuggie, and realize your 60bucks needs to go there. Long Live the Snuggie!
I have yet to hear the dialogue in KZ2, but I herd it can be corny and a lot of cursing. You can't really complain with the cursing part considering, say I was in a war situation I wouldn't exactly be calm, and watching my language.

The only thing halo did was bring online fps play to consoles, and that really is the only thing. Everything you talk about halo doing had been done before. The thing the series does best now is be over rated.

It was happening to mgs4 as well, not just on metacritic, but on any site you can post a comment/review about a game on (Even on the bestbuy website, well before the game was even released, these "insiders" that all happen to get a first hand glimpse of the game to tell everyone how horrible it is). It's nothing new, but is very very sad that someone could care so much about a "console war", that they try to trick others to not buy and enjoy the games on the other systems....
So sad... I don't understand why they don't just take off the user reviews anyway since it's just fanboy breeding grounds. Even if someone puts a legit user review they will have to weed through all the fanboys. I thought though they made it so you can't give user reviews until a game is released though? If that's true then this has probably been like that for a while. I still think they should just completely remove it.
Yeah it can be done, but valve would have to take l4d to the ps3, which won't happen, so no it won't be done. Another reason why I will talk down on Live, you gotta pay for gold, then gotta buy stuff that should be free.
I have a love hate with valve, a lot of times they release games and take years to get glitches out, but I still am a fan of them.
Yeah, Valve releases there dlc updates free, they wanted to do the tf2 updates for 360 as well, but MS want's them to charge money for it, and Valve refuses (Which I gained respect for them after that, although it sucks for people who play that on 360, if anyone does?).
the 360 must of never ran out of games then, cause the anti ps3 news keeps pretty steady. Not to mention the days when "360 had all the good games".

If it were all dedicated servers it would make sense. I agree.
You can argue the features all day, but when it comes down to it, you should not have to pay to play the actual game. They could charge the extra for people who want all the extra features, but you still should be able to play the game online without a gold account.

Yeah I herd bad things about SOCOM when it first came out. I never had a problem playing online with res 2 though. Had it from the start, it is a lot of fun online.
Oh and to contribute to the article, I don't see MS ever making live free.. really no reason to. If people are willing to pay for it, then MS is going to keep taking in that money. If someone has a problem with it they can get a ps3 and just go on as usual.
