yeah, cod is so popular is because of the smooth game play.

I'm highly disappointed in the way COD plays...its boring as hell. The levels all look the same to me. COD storyline just didn't have that wow factor.
COD sucks. A total fail.

RYSE was designed on the 360 and was ported over to the X1 Right?

When ever you design a game on a weak platform and then port it over to a strong platform there is a good chance you can run in to many problems...bugs, frame rate issues, etc.

Oh, forgot to add,the same thing can happen if the architecture are too different.

COD might've had the same treatment is what I was trying to say here.

All that CPU power was given to the FISH.

Where have I heard this frame rate issue before..Awww, yes, RYSE for the X1.

I'm starting to get the feeling that COD wasn't built from the ground up on the PS4 dev kit.

The same can be said about RYSE. I'm guessing COD development Might've started on the ps3/360 and then ported over to the PS4.

As strange as this may sound to some, I think the same thing could happen to Metal Gear Solid V. (I could be wrong though)

You and me.

I don't have a clue what it means but if I make an educated guess...I would say it means Sony found a way to use more anti-aliasing in a more efficient way.

I google what TMAA means, and didn't find much info about it.

But I read on one site that Sony created TMAA - BKA (TOO much anti-aliasing)

sounds interesting...

I don't want MS to fail b/c competitions is good for the gaming industry.

TLOU did very well in sales around the world considering that its was a brand new IP.

So with that being said, ND might take the same path again and introduced a new IP.

Something similar to TLOU would be good a choice...How about an apocalyptic alien game.

what do you guys think?

@lets_go_gunners
I guess MS is the saving the best for last...

spinal is a cool character. I'd really like to see what DJ combo/cinder look like.

Too bad I'll have to wait to play KI b/c I'm getting a PS4 first so I'll have to wait until I save up enough money to get an X1.

KI graphics are incredible.

Orchid look nice too but I really wanted to see cinder instead.

I got to say...we have some serious Nintendo fan up in here.

Nintendo could be hanging by a thread and they'll still fight for Nintendo to the bitter end.

A true Mario soldier.

Simple as that!

@rainslacker

well, if it were an open world space game with similarities that resemble our world(earth) than the budget for making that game would probably be the same....If they add things we all can recognize like trees, a sun, weather, etc.

Ex: The movie avatar was filmed on land that were very similar to our world, but they added lots elements to their story no one never seen or heard of...like how everything in nature stores time and record past experie...

Agreed, ND are masters of uncharted" territory.

I know they can handle just about anything you throw at them.

They make some of the best video game franchise in the world.

But when making a new IP budget is always a factor.

If they make a space game the budget goes up, if they make a game on land the budget for making that new IP goes down.

4608d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Making a space game is expensive...you have to explain everything...the stars, the planets, uncharted territory, etc.

Perhaps this is the main reason why Destiny story is mainly based on earth...we live on earth so therefore not much explaining is needed b/c we already know it.

I want a new IP.

@jhoward585 breathing room have you not seen the back of a ps4
----------------------------
In fact i have seen the back of a PS4 from videos...Very impressive indeed!

The opening at the back of the PS4 is a very good design, however, you also have to take in account that the PS4 GPU/CPU are on the same die.

Heat will be shared between the cpu/gpu.

EDIT:

I meant to say anything between 2ghz - 2.5ghz would be a good sweet spot to avoid over heating issues/PROD.

4609d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment

@neoandrew

Ok, the PS4's FCC document states that the highest CPU clock speed the ps4 can have is 2.75 GHz. I get that although I haven't read the FCC document.

But Logically speaking, I don't think Sony would ever use 2.75 GHz for the PS4 b/c the PS4 doesn't
have much breathing space.

Anything slightly below 2.75 GHZ would be a good sweet spot to avoid over heating issues/PROD.

That may very well be true for the laptop/mobile market. But for a gaming console it can be over clocked a bit if the company wishes.

Lately Ive noticing Sony has been going above and beyond our expectation...SONY are always full of surprises.

Can't wait for the reveal!
