Nintendo can stay in the hardware business. All they really need right now is a few more devs under their belt, that's all.
They don't have enough talent/devs to crack out games in a timely manner.
WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO MS SECRET SAUCE.
The Bottom line is that the Xbox One’s eSRAM will NOT be the death of the console.
I really hope so...cause I wasn't expecting the x1 to run in to so many problems early on.
The gap between the x1 and the ps4 are huge. so i'd really like to see what MS is going to do with the x1 this GEN.
The x1 will catch up to the ps4 using a new SDK update.
"laughing my head off"
The fact that the x1's eSRAM is used for z buffering renders tells me how weak the x1 really is.
Does anyone realize what this means....it means the x1 is only capable of rendering half the textures on screen.
Since we can see the back of characters/ objects it will never get rendered using z buffering. only the z axis get rendered. ...
I don't agree with 1886 vs Ryse Resolution Comparison because both game our completely different genre.
But what is the same are the motives of both devs, they're pushing the hardware to get more detailed/effects rather than higher frame rate.
So in ways I do agree with the comparison.
Bloody Roar would be prefect for the PS4.
beside, what better way to compete with MS's killer instinct.
wolf vs wolf.
I can see it now a Sony commercial that uses Bloody Roar's wolf character portrayed in a subliminal message that let gamers know which gaming system (x1 vs ps4) is bigger and better.
Sony got it all..
racing, fps, horror, etc...all they really need right now is a good fighting game.
Dang, I got to say most of you Sony fan are spoiled as hell.
60 fps is not needed ..
do the math.. 60fps = less detailed graphic / smaller levels
30fps = more detailed graphics / bigger levels
can't wait to play this.
Looks amazing.
I guess I'm going to have to dig deep down in to my pocket and get this game.
I had a strange feelin at&t would be the first ISP to do this to all of us.
AT&T are now AT$T
Nintendo buy platinum games
MS of all people should know that the ESRAM in the x1 wasn't enough.
Game files are normally huge because of loads of textures.
Also, texture normally take up between 40-50 percent of memory space in a single game.
so yeah a much bigger ESRAM was definitely needed in this case.
I still can't believe how ND manage to make a beautiful game as such as Uncharted with very little RAM(512) on the ps3.
Now I'm extremely exited to what ND can do with more RAM.
@ KonsoruMasuta
Yes Nintendo has well known franchise but that isn't going to be enough to get devs interested in making their franchise unless they believe they can make the money.
What will happen is... I think most devs are going to play the waiting game and let the first devs go first to see if Nintendo's licensing offer becomes a success. if it does become a success then most devs probably will jump on the bandwagon.
By allowing...
The problem I see with your statement is that I don't see Nintendo licensing offer to devs taking off well. Unless Nintendo decide to go mobile.
Part of the reason i say that is b/c most devs abandoned the wii U because they couldn't see any way to make lots money being that the wi u user base were Small.
So not allowing their character to be on other platform(not the ps4/x1) is a bad move.
But if Nintendo allow their character to be ...
Ok Nintendo..
you;re welcoming mobile with open arms. that's great!
Miyamoto contradict himself. Didn't he say a few months ago that the wii u was failing because its required double amount of devs teams to make HD games.
Now he's saying its because of Technological leap.
Dang Nintendo, you guys just don't get it.
you can make the hardware all you want but what about the games.
For the last time, Nintendo needs to buy more game studios.
Hell, you can't even produce games for the wii U in a timely manner so what makes you think you can do it for your next gen console.
I'm soooo upset about this, they're nickel-and-diming us for everything now.
The internet is going to come to an end. So enjoy your streaming while you can ladies and gentlemen.
Gamestop Advertising a Layaway Program for the Xbox One is a great idea.
gamestop has to pay rent for each x1 in stock. the longer it sits there the more money they have to spend to keep it there.
they rather make some money than no money.
A 10% or more(maybe less) increase in sales is very helpful at gaining more interest with their banks.
