@Agent2009
That may very well be true but just saying he couldn't run a filter in metal gear isn't saying much.
that's just me..I like a little more detail.
my point is...how come every other Devs talks about the difference between the x1 and ps4 in term of power accept Kojima.
I would a least like a break down as to which gaming console couldn't run the 80s filter and why.
Notice Kojima didn't say which gaming console....
Microsoft won't abandoned their xbox division b/c too much money was invested in their cloud tech.
I definitely agree...if Sega announced Shenmue for the Wii U it would bring a serious up roar allover the internet.
With the amount of particle effects /destructible objects/explosion in SS it has to have a stable frame rate or else everything will look choppy.
Shenmue
Thank you Sony for making a gamer's dream come true.
can't wait.
Agreed, it can if they Reduce the graphics, use tricks, z buffering, baked lighting, etc.
The problem with using tricks is that if one use too much of it..it will start to look fake.
Forza is a prime example of that.
@lifeisgamesok
That could explain why Drive Club a racing game that was supposed to be a launch title doesn't have a release date
------
its Because Sony believes in quality not quantity
Now I can clearly see where the 8% GPU went..the resolution of course.
Ok we will see. just as long as Evolution Studios don't add card broad cut outs in DC I will be happy.

"EVERYONE SHOULD RAMBLE ABOUT MICROSOFT"
Forza was a pretty decent game.
But wait til drive club comes out and lets see if anyone brags about Forza.
Seem to me Game stop haven't completely lost faith in the x1...well maybe a little.
For all we know, Game stop could be using the layaway plan to test how demanding the x1 really is.
If it fails the layaway offer then they'll know whether to order less x1 or their next shipment or take other business measures.
FFXV trailer is indeed incredible.
But I think our creativity in photorealistic graphics has gone as far it can go.
anything we do that goes beyond what have already been done before in Hollywood/Gaming would seem a bit too campy. There is a barrier. photorealistic graphics works very well when one using things from nature/life experiences/politics. Not to say that one can not add fantasy/sci fi content...but adding anything beyond that just wouldn't work.
Are photorealistic graphics killing creativity?
In a way yes it does. using photorealistic graphics tends to force the devs to only use things that are realistic.
Anything too unrealistic might make things look too campy.
our everyday perception and life experiences make it very difficult to accept things that doesn't line up with what we learn.
Good Move Nintendo.
Now give the key to one of your top indie devs and let them make a new 2-d metroid or any of your successful franchise.
awesome
