downgrade???
I don't see a downgrade anywhere in the 1886 demo. MY idea of a downgrade is when details are completely stripped away. In the case of 1886 I can clearly see a lot of the details has been traded in for more effects/lighting/fog effects/etc.
Mario Kart 8 looks and play fantastic. After e3 i might get a wii U.
@Lucas
You're right man. but most people can't stare at a great wall for long period of time.
Hopefully RAD would add a tad bit more color in 1886 to give variety throughout the game.
Agreed, the only complaint i have is 1886 need a bit more colors. Too gray for my taste.
The character models in the new build looks better to me because its looks natural/more realistic while the older build looks a bit more like the musketeer.
The art direction in the new build looks better.
Its going to be a while until most Devs get the hang of making big world games.
How nice.
a 3 min lap dance. what a tease.
Agreed, 1886 looks boring to me.
Lets face guys the x1/ps4 hardware can't break the balance when it comes to processing power.
adding jaw dropping graphics in a game the game play suffers.
I can't stand live stream. I want to watch the 1886 demo again.
Looks impressive. But I'd rather have game play footage instead.
Project cars is an awesome game. But there's something special in DC.
One things I notice DC does well that most race game don't offers... it simulate how lighting affect our eye in the real world.
If you look real closely in the last DC demo you'll notice The lens flare sort of prevent you from seeing what in front of the car.
The night time scene did that as well. Revolution also added a bit of fog to give the same effect. <...
Lukas thanks for the DC links...
The lighting in DC are incredible. That lens flare add realism. I can't wait to play this.
That'd be amazing if MS secured shenmue.
I have no clue what MS is going to introduce at e3.
I'm going to make a guess....
They will have all the e3 game demo available on xb live. For How long? maybe for a couple of hours.
That would be cool as hell if they did.
WD looks incredible but the I didn't like the back ground music. I think the WD demo from e3 has better audio back ground music.
Another game pushed back. I have a strange feeling MS is behind this.
Devs are waiting to get their hands on DX12.
Awesome. 60fps will become the standard.
Personally, I think the storage medium used for the ps4/x1 doesn't provide enough memory for games to have 60fps.
50 gigs might be enough for the 1st/2nd wave of game but not the 3rd/4th waves of games unless the devs used very very good optimization to make good used of the data.
The truth is, the ps4/x1 were designed to do 30fps and some 60fps games. Besides, most of you don't realized how hard it is to get a games to run at 60fps on a hardware that...
The more I hear about Sunset Overdrive the more I get jealous. I really like co op games the most.
RAD did an awesome job developing 1886. The visuals are incredible but I wished RAD had shown us something different. You just can't use the same actions scene over and over again. The first time was ok but seeing the same thing again gamers(including me) might not be happy.
I hope RAD take this as lessen learned that what's obvious to them, might not be obvious to others.
EDIT: I really meant to say that RAD shouldn't use the same game play actions...
