Its a great thing . . . too many great games are released from October-Christmas.
This gives us all a chance to hammer out all the great games this fall and holiday season, then be able to enjoy Mass Effect 3 in a time when few games are being released.
I wish publishers would space out big releases more evenly. I also think it would help the overall sales across the board. Not many people can buy 5-6 games a month from fall to Christmas.
Basically just because of how blown away I was with Wrestlemania 2000. No Mercy was a more refined game but I remember being a teenager and so blown away by 2000.
Both games are sick in their own right.

After not playing online shooters for a while I realize . . . . we miss out on so much more when we are constantly chasing Rank, K/D ratio, Prestige, etc. playing the same tired matches.

I think that Desmond and the Animus could be ruled out completely and it would have resulted it a tighter story and for me, a more enoyable game.
I don't like switching back and forth playing out something that has already taken place to tell a story in the present.

This is how companies should always respond to customers when problems occur.
They didn't have to do anything (except maybe for paying PS+ customers) but they went out and did it anyways.
Sony has pretty good customer service, I had a Blu Ray player I was having a hard time updating and I called Sony . . . they next day aired an update disc for free.
Glad to see them take this route with PS3/PSP.
I'm just praying they reach a labor agreement. That's part of what makes Madden great . . . once Madden comes out you really start to get that excitement for the new season.

I feel like COD and Battlefield should take 2 years between games and release new maps, weapon packs, player skins between games.

Even though this PSN outage is unfortunate and annoying I don't understand why the 360 fans are getting on their soapbox. Wasn't Xbox Live down for two weeks during the Holidays? And its a paid service!
