Awesome news. I originally thought it was an Amazon.com mistake!
A great interview. Roper really lets it all out.
This is true. There have, in fact, been several space combat games put out by more independent labels in the last couple years. None of which have been all that great. I am hoping that with Paradox's investment and experience involved that this will be the spacer we have been waiting for.
Yeah they are saying that the monthly fees will be of the 'standard rates' which I assume to mean roughly 15 a month.
Yeah, these guys are such talented cartoonists as well as humorists, it just is an unfair distribution of creativity!
I hate to say it, but I mocked this title a bit too until I started looking into it more. I never thought pro cycling would interest me at all but it looks to be a pretty cool management sim.
After seeing this video, I was alot more optimistic too. They still have to get gamers over the "SOE" hump, but this could be their chance at a bit of redemption.
Reading up on this expansion has definitely made me want to give it a shot. Looks pretty cool.
lol, Awesome!
Wow! That is awesome. What store and general location?
Part of me thinks this was a move done on purpose NOT to support the other platforms, like some sort of anti-Sony outburst or something. I wonder who was responsible for that decision, the publisher or developer or both?
Yeah, anytime someone likens something to Wing Commander I get excited and weary all at once. I hope they are right though and it does have the same spirit.
The one thing I would advise is make sure that you like adventure games. This is definitely not a high-intensity FPS or anything. They have tried to capture a psychological-thriller movie inside a pc game. Don't get me wrong, they have done a good job, it is that the genre isn't always for everyone.
Doesnt really 'blow you away' with graphical goodness but they look fine to me. What I really want to see is if they can capture the action of the films. If the gameplay is good, I think these graphics will do without issue for me.
Nice! I have a feeling this is going to be one of those crazy launch events. We will probably see the footage all over youtube the next morning. People breaking rank and charging the Best Buys for the sacred product. Hopefully, not many are hurt.
Definitely, the first one was a great time sink.
It definitely looks impressive.
Yeah, that is a nice gesture for any company to do. It helps promote a better corporate image.
Definitely pre-ordering tonight!
I loved the way Alliance was shaping up. Saw it at E3 a few years back. Looked like a blast. There was no reason an FPS and an MMO could not co-exist. I just think how it all went down was a shame and to the detriment of the fans out there.
