Very niche, but I could imagine some uses for it.

Im sorry but depth perception requires both eyes. That's common knowledge. Even more so with the tricky of artificial depth perception in this and other 3d devices.

I like how the trolls came out to say: oh the ms fanboys were on their knees hoping this was true (no names listed wonder why), when no1 ever believed it, as well as being pointless to have that much ram.

Sony trolls getting real desperate now it looks like. And theres so much more they can get go with, don't really need to sink this low for this obviously fake article.

@Strife

Actually rrod was from a cheap soldering technique that was used. Theres tons of youtube vids on if your block your exhaust fans and let it over heat some, so it will soder in correctly.

@Demester

You do realize laptop parts are very power efficient (usually 120w-180w supplies vs 500w-1000w for desktops) and run much cooler than desktops, right? That's why consoles have very similar parts to them. As in every console, so put your fanboyism aside for a sec, take a deep breath, and take that all in at once.

Exclusive content not a bad idea. I kinda liked how something like that was implimented into soul caliber. Sony got darth vader and xbox got yoda.

@Hicky

Coming from you, Im not surprised had to throw your a childish insult as usual. Kids will be kids I guess.

Why? Would you rather sony bought half the companies and ms the other half so we don't get any multiplatforms?

As a gamer I fail to see any logic there at all, other than an endless cycle of epeen bragging rights.

How is it a ps4 revolution? We've already had Everquest on the ps3 and mmo's are common place on the pc.

Still, the game does look legit and I'll be playing it. Idk if it will be any better than Dota2, Neverwinter, or Guild Wars 2, but it's worth a play thru.

Well yes actually you do get all that on the pc throught steam or you can use ventrillio to use headsets. Some exclusives are only to console but some are to pc's. Were u trolling or did you really not know that?

I realize your trying to stick to the facts, but you really did skip over some. Such as MS hasn't officially announced specs yet. Also they are using a somewhat unconventional method with their console using 32 esram.

So I'd say the jury is still out on that matter. Either way, gaming is going get some much needed improvements real soon. : )

4683d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Well I was referring to the amount of ram, not the type. going from 256 to over 4gb is a good thing. Beyond that, idk if theres much use, but we'll see.

Ah the eternal game of leapfrog. It's both a blessing (faster,better), and a curse at the same time (u get pist because you just spent a bunch last year's model).

I think the best approach (unless you bleed monies), is to not upgrade every other month when the new thing comes out. Starts be like an addiction to get the fastest component with no real benefit.

You mean PC has a leg up on f2p games. Been playing Warframe and Planetside now for several months. Very solid games, and for free. You just cant beat that price.

You must be totally smarter than the military too. All their workouts/boot camps involve zero free weights or workout rooms.

@News10

Id say its slightly easier to upgrade a gpu over a cpu, not vastly. Any monkey with a screw driver can do a cpu.

The only frustrating part of a cpu upgrade would be if you needed to upgrade the motherboard too. A monkey could still do it, but could take around 30 min to do it because of the 8-12 screws and unplugging/replugging in all the peripherals.

People should make their own opinions and not be such followers. But with that said, it is influencial to hear someone important like that in the gaming industry state their opinion.

Too much market saturation these days with psvita, 3ds, and all the cell phones and tablets. O and not to mention NVidia shield.

Ya no way would this venture ever be successful. It would fail way worse then the sales of zune mp3 players did.

No have you? Nor have I ever been able to play on any pc peripheral Ive ever bought. I just return it if im not happy.

I do like the larger size of the ps4 over the ps3, but the pc I don't think will be using that touchpad for anything.

Plus I like the stick placement better. So I hope that's even for you to judge me on without going the calling me a fanboy rant that's so popular in these forums nowadays.
