The Alpha is over now. It ended about 6 hours ago. next chance to play is during the beta and for that you have to pre-order it and then register the code you get at Bungie's website.
I played it via remote play as well and I must say it was some of the best remote play controls I have seen so far. I liked that the R1 and L1 was moved to the Right and Left sides of the touchpad leaving the middle for the main touchpad. Also Sprint was down on the d-pad and all it required was a quick tap while moving forward. I can definitely see myself playing the full game via remote play from time to time but I will definitely prefer it at home on my PS4 and bigscreen tv.
I didn't find all those areas but I did find the area from the first demo. It felt so awesome finding out it was there. Later I led a couple of my friends there and the whole time we were talking about how amazing the Alpha had been. The fact that it is just a small part of the full game and yet it had so many areas in it and so much to do was mind-blowing. I really cannot wait for the beta just to see what else is added and I know once the full game hits I will be spending most of my gam...
I made one of each for the Alpha and got all three to level 8. I also managed to gain a few extra abilities and level up some of my weapons and armor. I started with an Exo Hunter, then I made a Human Titan, and lastly I made an Awoken Warlock. For the full game I plan on doing the same but like the Alpha I will probably start with the Hunter again. I couldn't say which one I like the best but I do tend to like sniping more and being agile is a must for something like that. Plus I had a s...
After playing just the Alpha so far I can say that it should do very well once the full game hits. I am excited to see just where the story goes not just in the first game but as the series progresses in the years to come. All told yes that is a big number that has been spent for the game but it is money well spent and I think Destiny could become the next big gaming franchise.
If you watch it closely he doesn't pull the slide back all the way the first time. He pulls it back just enough to check to see if there is a round in the chamber. After that he ejects the clip to check how much ammo he has and then finally chambers a round after putting the clip back in. That is actually very realistic when handling a weapon you aren't sure is loaded.
It is coming out in 2015. Most likely in November. So really only about a year and a half. And even when the game comes out and people start uploading gameplay vids there will still be some who deny it looks that good unfortunately.
I actually think that this will be what the game looks like even in gameplay. With the ICE team being part of Naughty Dog studios it stands to reason that they could push the PS4 that hard. Also with Ready At Dawn making The Order 1886 use the same assets for both the gameplay and cutscenes with smooth transitions between the two then there is no reason why Naughty Dog wouldn't do the same for Uncharted 4. They have always been big on the cinematic gameplay and have always tried to push t...
@Lawboy2
inFamous First Light is not DLC. It is a standalone game that does not require you to own or to have even played inFamous: Second Son. It allows people to play as Fetch and experience her origin story. So it actually shouldn't even be compared to any of the DLC you listed let alone KI Season 2 since all that does is expand the character roster.
On Topic MS is bringing out some good games for XBOX One and frankly I am definitely considering getti...
The movie trailer I liked because it showed more footage than what we have seen so far. Powers however needed at least a trailer. It would have done a lot better than just talking about it.
I'd like to know why do people always want to include KI Season 2 in these lists but then gloss over the fact that inFamous: First Light is a PS4 exclusive that is coming out in August? It isn't a DLC for Second Son but is a stand alone title that people can play without having ever played or bought Second Son.
Also @ArgumentumAdPopulum I agree. Sony has done the same with announcing stuff before E3 only to show gameplay at E3 and been blasted for it. But now that Mic...
I for one don't mind either company trying new things as far as bringing shows to the people who buy their systems. That being said Sony really should have had some footage to show of Powers. I had actually expected them to show something since it had already been announced as well.
The R&C games are a lot of fun. I am very interested in the remake as well. The gameplay changed quite a bit between the first one and the later games so it will be nice to see how they refine it for the new one. Also I can't wait to see what the new gameplay areas will be.
Infamous: First Light is also coming out in August. It will be a completely stand alone title from Second Son as well.
Everyone constantly forgets about InFamous: First Light which is a stand alone title by the way. You don't have to have played or even own Second Son for that one and it is coming out in August.
I am interested in Powers but I agree they needed more than just talk. I was really hoping for a trailer of the show but then to say they are still casting was a big bust on that part. At least I can watch it for free because of Plus. Other than that one spot I thought Sony did well.
Sony could have done better with Powers if they had some footage to show. The fact that all they did was talk about it left a lot to be desired for that. I am interested in the show as I have been since it was first announced. But since we knew about it already the fact they had nothing to show of it was a big let down. Other than that I loved what they showed and I cannot believe how good those games look. Nice to see actual game play being shown in the trailers.
I am interested in Powers but if they had been able to show footage that would have made that whole segment better. Instead they just announced something we already knew about and stated they aren't even done casting. So that could have been cut out and nothing would have been lost.
Microsoft only showed one more game than Sony. the count was 20-19 not including sizzle reel stuff. So Microsoft and Sony were pretty much on par for games that were shown. Sony however showed more actual gameplay so for that Sony takes it.
Good to see Watch Dogs doing so well. I have yet to actually buy it myself though. Just can't afford it yet but I will be getting it soon. I really cannot wait for Destiny though and if Watch Dogs sold that much better on PS4 over XBOX One then the numbers for Destiny will most likely show an even larger gap since all the advertising is being done for the PS4 version. It also should help the PS4 sales because of the Destiny bundle and I wouldn't be surprised if Destiny is the big must...
