Meh, it was an intense experience but it was something I only wanted to play once....I Gameflyed it and I'm glad mainly because I didn't have the drive to do most of the same QTE's again for a slightly different story (probalby different ending but there's 7 hour of QTEs before that)
It's a great game that should be played by everyone but I recommend a rent and it's nothing that would make me extremely upset if I only owned a 360 (GOW 3 would do that but I have both so I'm golden...
It sucks that Activision has Blizzard now....my "loyalty" to Blizzard runs deeper than the slimeball Activision. That being said I continue to play MW2 because my friends have it and it sucks me in between cheating games.....those suck but the non-cheating games are fun as hell to me.
Anyway, Blizzard (and Acti....which sucks) will get my money for SC2 but I will never buy an Activision games....only Blizzard ones
see MW2 is a mixed bag with me....I'm decent (usually about a wash with kills/deaths) and the game is amazingly fun one game....and then I run into cheaters the next and it's kind of annoying.
It's a lot more fun now that I realize I stink and don't mind dying though. I'll probably keep it for fear of regretting I had turned it in at a later point. Great deal to those who want to
By the way, traded in AC2 for 22.50 which I thhought was a great deal for what I got...
Because they really don't for me.....I enjoyed GOW 1 and 2 over games like Dante's and newer games because of the gameplay and not the graphics
Just as I enjoy Halo 3 over many current shooters....is it really that much of a stretch for you to understand that?
It may be the next step but it's not one I support. 3D to me seems like a gimmick that a movie or game would need only if it's of bad quality. It reminds me of an amusement park ride but it's not something I want in video games.
Maybe I'll think differently if I try it but it just seems like it would draw me out of the story and game because of things jumping out of the screen at me. To those who enjoy and want it, it's coming whether people like it or not.

there was a comment on bungie's site about Reach that said they were so excited to show that but they were nervous about showing alpha footage right now....not sure if that means it's alpha footage or like pre-beta-alpha footage but nonetheless it's got some time to cook in the oven.

Thank goodness GOW3 and FF13 (not to mention SC2....better come out this summer) can hold me over until September when it's all Halo all the time (well 75% of the gaming time anyway)
Well if they're taking a racing game to go up against one of the best selling games of all time and a shooter, they might want to rethink that strategy.
There are WAY more shooter fans in this day and age than racing fans it seems

ODST was meh....I have all the Halo FPS games (except ODST) but I did rent ODST and it did feel kinda rushed/tacked on expansion pack
However, Halo 3 is a great game and hence it's still top 2 on XBOX Live most played list behind MW2 even though it's nearly 3 years old

cause graphics determine that....and not the overall quality of the game itself....are people really that shortsighted? It speaks to your intelligence if you think graphics are what solely make a GAME....you realize you have to play the game as well right? so if the gameplay blows, then the graphics don't matter
actually, it doesn't since it's a multiplatform game? I have both consoles but what if I wanted to play Halo or Alan Wake but wasn't as interested in Killzone or Heavy Rain?
People around here deal in absolutes when they shouldn't. The PS3 is a great console and the 360 is great as well and it's about what you want out of your machine. If you want Halo, etc....get a 360 and vice versa.
