First, the contract is for one IP.....Activision doesn't own Bungie like they did Infinity Ward. It's for one IP (which means original and sequels). An example is how EPIC and Microsoft had an agreement with Gears of War but EPIC is still independent (as of now)
Second, only great games get this much hate. (See GOW3, Halo)

Terran has the best late game options of the three that I've found so far. Zerg are very limited to late game with corrupters and brood lords since ultras are too expensive to really rely on while Terran have Cruisers, Vikings and Banshees or Nukes.
Plus, in all honesty most games don't even get that far before a winner is introduced. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but the maps are plenty large for a game to be played unless you guy...
The question is though of how much MW2 was Activision stepping in and how much was IW own ideas.....it's probably somewhere in the middle

Here's my take...if you go into it thinking it's the best game ever created, you won't like it (the Halo series for that matter) but if you go in with an open mind and just play around, give it a couple weeks of regular play to get used to it.....not to mention the first time you stick someone with a plasma grenade or have one of those "HOLY SH*T" moments when you have an epic kill and then can go record it, replay it and share it with your friends, you'll realize why everyone loves...

Bungie is one heck of a developer and they listen to their fans (unlike some people...looking at you IW,etc.) so if it is too chaotic, they'll fix it....I'll let you know on May 3rd and man, I am so freaking excited. I just got into SC2 beta and Reach is coming up.

me too, I definitely know I'm not getting the legendary edition....I don't have that kinda capital having to pay for college and all but if the Limited is like 70 dollars and has decent extras, I might buy it as Bungie's last of the series

There is no damage control with this....we all knew Bungie was independent (3 years ago) and they were done with Halo for a while...All they did was find a publisher for their next IP.
