I can't wait until Bungie's new game comes out and you PS3 people will praise it like it's the second coming no matter how the visuals are.....or you'll say at least we know the gameplay will be good. Talk about some hypocrits.
Anyway, the beta is a blast and I'm starting to get a little over it but that's just because there's only 3 maps and limited gametypes. The base feeling of fun is still there after a week. I'm usually too busy playing ...
They never said it would be the graphics king....where do you pull this stuff out of? They said something to the effect of they would like to challenge the graphical games out right now but they never said they were going to be it.

Anyway, people shouldn't dog on you because you don't like Halo games....not everyone likes everything. I personally love Halo and have played the crap out of the beta but I wasn't a fan of U2 multi (campaign was awesome) and GOW3 while still a fantastic game wasn't worth purchasing because of it's length.

The AR could use some work....more bullets or a bit more damage but at the same time, it adds a bit of strategy to it in the fact of how you attack them. AR to take down shields and pistol to kill?

1) It's been widely known that 343 was taking over after Reach and Bungie was done with Halo for many years (never now...sad face)
2)Bungie has been independent for several years which means MS never had a hold on them except for Reach and they can't take the Halo licsense elsewhere
So what has changed from MS perspective in all this? Nothing, they planned for life after Bungie with 343 (still need to see what these guys...

we already knew Bungie was done with Halo (for a while anyway after Reach) last year and they've been independent for a couple years.....this was inevitable for them to do a multiplat
Nothing has changed from Microsoft's perspective.....they are independent which means they can make games for whoever they want
Actually I do because it's just for that one IP and they can do whatever else they want. They're a big studio and I'm sure this IP is already in development
I bet they are happy to welcome Bungie and pry that studio from Microsoft exclusivity by whatever means they had to.
As for the IP, can't wait. I enjoy Halo a lot and can't wait to see what Halo on steroids is like....even though it's probably a bit of puffery (yea, I just used that) that companies usually do.
Hope we hear something at E3 even though I get the feeling they'll be a bit busy with Reach at E3
Everyone is buying either the rights or the company from everyone today
1) DLC - just stop....I'm ok with trying to combat used game sales so free DLC at first is ok but past that, stop it
2) Graphics - seriously, stop with the thsi game sucks because the graphics aren't the best in the world. It's annoying. God of War 3 wasn't a great game solely because of the graphics, I think the story and gameplay had something to do with it too
