Well I only own one activision game and that's MW2 (don't count Blizzard's...you're not getting me to boycott those games..no chance). I won't purchase from them again but I already purchased MW2 before the company tried all this "creative" stuff so I might as well play it but I don't like where they're trying to take things. Get out of here with that logic....If I couldn't afford both, I would have gotten 360 because their games appeal to me more but since I can, I'm more than happy to own a PS3 as well (really interested about LBP2 later this year)
It's actually gotten a bit better as far as cheating....it's still a fun diversion from Halo 3 and BC2 as far as I'm concerned...Hate it all you want but it still has some entertaining qualities for some of us
Be careful, they might drop the price of COD to 40 and trhen charge you 10 dollars a month to play....I would rather leave them where they are at then go down that route
Well as far as bargains to me....60 dollar games are fine but if you can get the dollar per hour ratio of the game to about 2 or lower...that's a good deal to me.
For example, if I get 30 hours out of Reach (and I will...trust me), then that's a great game first off and a good deal. That's how I kinda look at things....Do I think I'll really play this for 20-30 hours? If so, then I'm open to buying it
I only buy games with Multiplayer at this point. Single player games are the best experience but generally after I beat it, I won't play it again because I know what happens (Bioware games being the exception). Multiplayer increases the value.
For me GOW3 wasn't worth 60 dollars for the 8 or 9 hours I got out of it. Halo 3 has been well worth the money....I've played about 150 games between two gamertags (switched a few months ago) and that's a lot of hours...
Maybe Acti doesn't realize a huge star wars game is coming up in The Old Republic....Star Wars attracts people especially if they have to pay for a game to play it anyway.
I know if that that happens for FPS games, my first jump is on to Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 (unless Blizz does it which I don't think they would) and then onto SWTOR
The only way I would pay for online multiplayer is games like Halo: Reach where the features and value are so ridiculous and I have the most fun playing it....otherwise, I would just play an MMO and be done with it.

Graphically...of course not, but I play a game to have fun. I've played Halo 3 WAAAAAYYYYYY more than Uncharted 2. Everyone has their own opinion and UC2 is a very good game but (in my opinion) the game that matched UC2 came out 3 years ago as far as being fun to play
Does it play all the games I want to play? I could care less about half that list minus Bluray (which I don't really use until I get bigger than 32 inch tv and surround sound). It doesn't play Halo, Gears, Mass Effect or Fable.
Do I enjoy my PS3? Yes, but good lord it's a game console with a bluray player thrown in....let's not act like it's the next coming or anything

Yikes, these people are off their rocker. I'm a christian myself (for exposition purposes) but a majority of the Christians I know think these type of people are anything but. I appreciate them having their own opinion but there are MUCH better ways to go about it than making yourself like like world class fools and jerks.
Bottom line...it's all opinions and as far as all these negatives about the 360.....I have one that negates all those. It's fun to play their games. I have both consoles (PS3 last november...been an xbox gamer before that since the original) so I'm more partial to 360 exclusives like Halo, Gears, Mass Effect and Fable. I haven't had a chance to catch up on PS3 exclusives but want to play MGS4, LBP, KZ2/3.
It's all about what's more fun and my 360 is...
