Just a thought....maybe they would get Live to play games on or watch movies ....I seriously doubt Microsoft is selling last.fm as a live seller......Keep on grasping at straws man...it's getting entertaining
It's an extremely solid and stable internet multiplayer service that cost you 5 dollars a month....a whole 5 dollars......So you eat at home instead of going to taco bueno one night and that pays for Live....
I make 5 bucks in less than an hour and I get a whole month of Live.......

Can someone please explain what's different between a LAN and connecting over the internet? Last time I checked, LAN's have to be connected to the same network anyway so you can all still get in your rooms with friends....hook it up to a router and do the same thing you did before.

You can still have a lan party but just get online to do it......it's not like Blizzard charges any extra for an online account.
You can still be in the same room as your friends just hook up to a router (like you would have to do anyway) and play the game online....just don't see it as a huge deal

I enjoy the games that 360 offers and therefore I own a 360. I would own a PS3 as well but I don't have the money and need to prioritize other things above video games. It's extremely silly to have a shouting match over stuff that is completely opinion. But loved Eagle Eye and the Transformer movies......Disturbia wasn't that bad either but if you notice he's always got a smoking hot female co star so maybe that's why I liked Disturbia but nonetheless...he's come along way in actually being a competent actor

I love xbox live and think it's more stable than playstation's network and I have played on PSN before (friend's console and account). It just seemed not as tight and functional as Xbox Live but it's free so it all evens out.
Microsoft gets plenty of money from games released on PC. I mean Halo, Gears, ME, Fable are all associated with MGS so they get the same amount of money as if it was sold on 360........that's all they're doing is trying to make money

he's right in the sense that when people play WoW or just any video game constantly and doesn't socialize or excersise....they aren't gonna be too healthy
that's a valid point......if I didn't have Gold, I probably would only be hooked up to the internet to get game updates but that's about it. I think it's a cool feature that I might use now and then.....I prefer Pandora radio anyway but who knows...I might like it since I've never heard of Last.fm till E3
