So Valve creates three new special infected, several non-common infected (fire resistant, etc.), 2 new ammo types (at least), 4 new campaigns that are the size of 5 (as said by Valve), 10-20 new weapons (don't know exact #), 4 new characters and changes the mechanics of the witch (she can walk around now....holy crap, that's gonna suck)
and you think that should be in DLC......hell, that sounds like a game to me and not a DLC. What you want 10 campaigns with 40 weapons? Serious...
gamestop has all versions (PS3, 360, PC) for 59.99....it's freaking ten dollars people for a game that is one of the most anticipated this year.
I fail to see the huge problem here. If it becomes a normal thing, then maybe but the game had to be expensive and it's definitely not DLC size...it's a complete game

Can I say I officially hate this exclusive reserve thing.....I mean it's one thing for a game like Madden that I know I'm gonna get anyway but this is just dumb in my opinion. You're leaving out part of the game unless you preorder from the Walmart of game stores......I've decided GameStop is pure evil....

I actually downloaded the extended demo and I'm actually really happy. Man coverage works like it's supposed to....defenses are a little better (at least Ari and Pit in the demo), the game speed is slowed (although you can change in final game) which is nice because you can see plays develop instead of having to get rid of the ball where you think the play shou...

Who cares? I'm playing Prototype and love it and if you love Infamous, that doesn't mean there's an overall "winner" due to some sales numbers...it's which one you think is better (without any fanboy bias of Infamous being exclusive....I know it's hard to do that people but try)
I've only played Prototype and love it so far although those damn Hunters get annoying when they're chasing you around the city but nothing that can't be taken care of quickly....
Does it get a gold star if it sells more or someone actually wins this "argument"? Bottom line is they're both supposedly good games (haven't played Infamous but love Prototype about half way through it) and we get to enjoy them.
They're sales figures and which sold more does not affect me at all. If either/both sold well, there will probably be sequels, that's all sales numbers mean to me at this point.

What ever happened to playing the game because it was fun? Now, it just seems like a job if you want to get all the points/trophies. Personally, I don't care about achievements but seems silly to have a competition about which totally irrelevant system is better.

I usually alternate NCAA and Madden every year and I've found there's enough updated to make it worthwhile that way and this year it's Madden's turn. I like the tackling and fight for every yard additions though.
The demo wasn't gonna sway me either way so it is what it is...I'll just wait for a review to make sure there isn't anything horribly wrong and buy it then
and even if it has good integration for games and all affordable....I never buy 1st generation tech and this will be no different

I, for one, can't wait for both of the games and I would buy ODST if I had the money but I don't sadly.....Geeze, people think they're the only one in the world that likes a certain game and their word speaks for the rest of the world...

Saw some new info in that one....I wonder what that new game mode is gonna be (unless I missed the announcement somewhere). I think it's completely justified what they're doing releasing in a new game and I can't wait until it comes out. Wish they would provide the PC specs needed so I can plan ahead (hopefully won't be too bad)
That's your opinion but I'm pretty sure the people who have played the heck out of L4D think they got their money's worth out of it. I don't have the first just because I didnt have the money to get it but I'm gonna buy the 2nd one day one so I could care less
they said this the day L4D2 was announced but the protesters were too busy whining and wanting attention that they missed it....
You don't think in the 4+ years (not really sure how long it's been) that techonological advances haven't occurred? I'm sure it will be fine. Blizzard wouldn't do this unless they had full confidence in 2.0
We were all saying the same things when the 360 and PS3 games went to 60 dollars and now we buy them without a moment's thought
So I think they're trying to see if the PC world is ready for this.....Personally, I'm getting the game on xbox just because I like shooters with a controller (even though I'll get L4D2 on PC because of Valve's charity to the PC gamers first) so it really doesn't affect me all that much but like you guys said, leave Blizzard alone at least and let them d...
