Batman AA is a good game by all means, but a button masher. Spider-Man 3 (PS3/360 version) had an excellent combat system. Stealth in BM AA was overkill and got boring. Even the map in SM3 was much better than BM AA, there are times when nothing makes sense and the map is 0 help in BM AA.
Where's the Sega Activator at in this list? It was as much a gimmick as Natal/Kinetic....In fact Natal/Kinetic is The Sega Activator 2.0 in all honesty from looks of poor performance.
LOL@Aquanox
kinetic has not been proven to work, just over hyped from MS. Move has actually been proven to work and has the superior Bluetooth tech and 10 years of being worked on (Yes before Wii). kinetic has demos, but the only ones that worked flawlessly were recorded demos...not live. Lots of people buying into the hype (US only) will be very mad once they find out that kinetic is the Sega Activator 2.0.
Funny how every review from hands on playing kinetic have found flaws in the tech except this one. Sony's move and Nintendo's Wii tech have been proven live in front of people...not recorded demos on a screen PS Move has been developed for 10 years starting with the EyeToy from PS2, who knows how long MS worked on kinetic.
The Sega Activator was around $80 or so, but it was total crap and didnt perform. Kinetic is the Activator 2.0 and its reliability has yet to be proven at all. Most of the demo's are produced videos...not live demo's. I feel for anyone that buys Kinetic, hopefully none ever had an Activator and are buying into all this hype for the unproven system add-on because of lack of knowledge and not ignorance. It has been said you need alot of lights on while using and that the darker your...
Anybody ever remember the success of the Sega Activator? Kinetic is just the 2.0 update of it. Kinetic doesn't even use Bluetooth IN 2010!!!!!!! Kinetic has yet to be proven to ever decently work, how can people be brainwashed so easy??? Nintendo & Sony have proven their tech live, MS has had more filmed demo's than live demo's. Kinetic is heading for failure, but alot of people in the US will buy it because of hype anyway.
How exactly will Kinetic be the next big thing when it has rarely live demoed to work? Most of the demos are recorded and shady...I dont know who would blow money on a product not proven to work. The PS Move has been shown openly that it works with multiple live demos. Kinetic doesn't even use Bluetooth tech, which is obviously the superior way to go.
This is either a joke or a desperate attempt. Hitler said if you told a lie loud enough and long enough that people would believe it.....And that they would believe a bigger lie than a smaller one.... Pretty sick if this isnt a joke.
@dizzleK
LOL, The 360 will not go down in price with the wifi built in. They are too money hungry. It took them what 5 years almost to finally add it internally?? Blu-ray drives are the current tech, Dvd drives are older tech....
The 360 "s" shouldnt be anywhere near the top 3 or the PS3 Slim. They both didn't change much. The 360 still has rrod, its just the red dot of death (so yeah technically no more rrod for newer consoles). The PS3 took out Linux support because of hackers. Its nice to see power usage go down...But even if you keep it on all day (cant with any 360) it still takes less power to run than a/c in summer months.
Its cute how the author puts quotation marks around free PSN game (because once the subscription is up you can no longer play it). Xbox Live does the same thing...only FOR EVERY GAME!.....and you still have to pay for the games. So basically you pay for the games, and pay to play them...yet you never really own them.
M$ is so scared of Sony that bs in its purest form like this is written. M$ doesn't give you a choice, Sony does...so no a ton of money has to be thrown in to down play it. My friends fiancée who works at Best Buy said there have been alot of complaints about the "new" 360's overheating and even ruining discs....Here we go again.
Remember Capcom is the only company that locks game save backups, not suprized by this at all!
LOL@Alpha-Male22 " ....the 360 has sold more, its more recognized, and its more actively played than the PS3."
Can we go a single day without people flaming?? The PS3 is steadily catching up with the 360, even after a year head start...its not too far behind. If the 360 is renown for anything its the consistent 50% + failure rate. Thing is, without competition between the HD consoles, developers would get lazy and games wouldn't be worth playing. Its a huge blessing...
The 360 consistently shows enormous failure rates and the fanboys keep coming up with excuses while simultaneously wrapping their 360's in towels.
Lack of air flow is a problem, but I think the major thing is using lead-free solder which isnt near as good at holding bonds. I know they try to use it to "save the environment"...give me a break.
There are only 2 consoles this gen, Wii has PS2 tech (if that) and games are very limited. The 360 and PS3 are the only consoles of this gen. They came out with a Sega Genesis that had some games on it already, plus it takes old cartridges...should that be considered "this gen" too?
If a game doesn't have guns its not fun? This guy is obviously one of the many FPS addicts that only plays the incredibly over saturated type of game. Walking around with a gun....how fun, thats never been done before!!!! Fighting games are creeping back into the scene so hopefully they'll stop making 150 "different" shooters a year.
Because the PC has the install and PS3 has Blu-ray, they hide their insecurity with "its no big deal". Going out of their way to say it out loud is suppose to comfort them I guess....Like the nerd in HS gym who says "we're not going outside to play football today, its too cold"
I never liked SM1 as it was too hard and just thrown together. SM2 was refreshing as web slinging had never been done like that before. The combat could have been better, but was improved in the PS3/360 sequel. Ultimate Spider-Man was disappointing to say the least but the next Gen SM3 was alot of fun. Web slinging was smoother, but not as thrilling somehow. Graphics were good and the combat was excellent(Im sure people complained because you couldnt button mash, you had to learn combos...
I guess if you like carbon copy shooters then PC is the way to go. I guess if you like sitting close to a screen, using more buttons (Pressing X + cntrl + F1 + L + 5 + M to do something a trigger button can do on a console), carbon copy shooters, controllers that arent as good if you dont buy a $60 console controller (If you arent against controllers), carbon copy shooters, feeling like its 1980-early 90's, carbon copy shooters, carbon copy shooters, carbon copy shooters and carbon copy ...
