You just need to have an internet connection. The 60GB PS3's had the browser disabled for a couple of weeks due to the hack using linux. It wouldn't let you go online to use the browser, as they disabled it just through your internet connection. As soon as that update to take linux out, all the 60GB PS3's could go online fine. There will ALWAYS be lag playing online, its just the way it is. Hearing other people talk through other games is only overrated because its something fangirls try to brag about. Its coming to PSN, but why do people fantasize about hearing their "friends" through a mic?
Looks like a good story, I'll see about gameplay. SM3 had the best combo system and a good web slinging system. Probably have to rent it to see if mechanics are better than the 3 SM game failures after SM3.....Still fighting looks much better than the button mashing on Arkham Asylum.
Well nintendo played the "hold back" game to increase the wii demand. Sony doesn't have to though.
The wii is still at the same level as the gamecube. It has sold more because of a poor world economy. Buying a $250 system vs a $400-$600 system....its completely obvious. The wii versions of multi-platform games are ALWAYS CRAP vs PS3/360/PC versions (and no I'm not just talking about graphics).
Until I try it I dont care what any score is. The two great SM games have been SM2 and SM3, SM1 was glitchy n hard, Ultimate SM had boring races (If I want to play a racing game I'll grow a mullet, buy a budwieser coozie, and play racing games) plus Ultimate SM didn't have the best fighting.....SM FOF was too easy and lethargic, SM WOS was a bore too (was just alot of air mashing).
Why does everyone forget that you can play the entire PS1 library (per format, US/Can, PAL, Japanese) on any PS3....while the 360 has a very limited list of games from the original xbox you can play. Yes the older models play PS2 games too, but thats a bonus.
Sony has always released a slim version of their gaming system. MS must have been taking notes, they need to stop charging for online gameplay now (increasing it in Nov is ridiculous). You shouldnt have to pay a fee to buy online games and use free services like twitter and facebook.

They said the same thing about the Activator, the advertisements painted the picture of ease vs using a controller. Those who bought it found out just how frustrating it really was. For $150 the Activator should have at least been fun...

How is the controller not comfortable? The original Xbox controller was probably the worst controller ever, they had no way to go but up starting with that. The PS controllers were comfortable from the start with two symmetrical sticks added later...not one up and one level with a dpad. Both big and small hands can grip a DS3 with ease.
Something pretty big is happening next week as well to the PS3. Its kinda obvious, but my friends fiance discovered it to confirm it. It will help the PS3 in sales and nintendo/ms will probably have no choice but to lower prices. My friends fiance works at Best Buy....hint hint

Sitting close to a screen playing the 5 games a year that legally come out for it....with a keyboard LOL....I guess if you like the oversaturated shooter genre and are near sighted, pc gaming is for you! PC fangirls also tend to act arrogant eluding to "lack of knowledge" for using consoles. Pressing R1, y, v, right arrow, ctrl, f, e, k to start walking forward just isnt fun :p.

Sony has had the basic design for move for a while, they just needed to make it smaller. MS just made the Sega Activator 2.0, and it looks just as accurate as that crap hardware did.
