Microsoft is funny...ou buy the tv, the console, the internet, and the game.....then microsoft forces you to pay them to combine them all. I like owning digital games is I buy them.....not renting them like you basically do on live. The connection is just the same on PSN vs XBL if you hook up to wired connection, but every PS3 has wireless for no extra charge so most use it.....
How is every shooter that comes out year after year in the oversaturated market not repetitive?????? Walking around with a gun got old 15 years ago.

Anybody remember the Sega Activator???? I thought not, it was a motion controller that was $150. You used your body control the game. It was advertised to death, selling fun....only problem is it didn't work nearly at all.....sound familiar???

I loved my Sega Genesis (still do) but when they started bring out the CD/32 X/Activator they went downhill and never were the same. MS has already had a failed external hd-dvd drive (although that is different vs Sega CD due to it not playing games) and now they bring out a Sega Activator-like product?? I was excited over it as a kid but it was ultimately pure crap at same price kinect is going for...$150.

I think Disney backing up Blu-ray + Blockbuster Video offering Blu-rays for rent was a huge help as well. Who wants to blindly buy every movie, especially at the original prices of HD DVD and Blu-ray? Sony was smart about who they were partnered with.
MS is like the nerds in a high school gym class. On wrestling day they have to say out loud what they really are scared to death of wont happen. "We wont wrestle today". MS is showing their insecurity openly. I guess we never needed cassettes, vhs,cds, floppy disks, usb drives, or dvds either. MS higher ups must have ice boxes instead of refrigerators in their homes, and fans instead of air conditioning as well.
If you haven't noticed, EVERYTHING is going toward Blu-ray. Dvds still come out but the sections are getting smaller and smaller at stores. The combo packs (Blu-ray/DVD) are growing along with Blu-rays...prices are going down as well. MS doesn't want to support Blu-ray discs because of obvious reasons, but pretty soon they may have no choice......You dont see VHS & cassette tapes (other than blank) at stores anymore. DVD's were last gen's tech and MS continues to use ...

Spider-Man 3 trumps AA in almost every way, but majorly due to the combo system in SM3. AA's map is next to useless and the game forces you to be in Detective Mode 95% of the time. Its definitely the best Batman game ever, but also incredibly overrated.
DS3 too small?? I'm 6'3 with a size 14 shoe and I have no problem holding a DS3. I really cant stand the analog stick localizations on the 360 controller though. Along with the fact that the 360 controller should be bluetooth for the insane reach it could have. Why wont MS put bluetooth anything in their system?
The Japanese are smart and know what the Sega Activator 2.0(Kinetic) is all about.
SM3 (PS3/360 version) was a great game. The Wii/PS2 version of SM3 was crap though (couldnt even run for some stupid reason, just walk). Batman AA had good graphics and by far the best Batman game ever, but it was a button masher that forced you to stay in detective mode 3/4 of the game. Plus the map in Batman AA was little help, no jump button either. Batman AA was probably hyped because of the unreal engine they used. Stealth isnt fun after a while and really slows everything down. SM3 was just about as perfect a Spider-Man game can be with the combo system (not a simple button masher), and web slinging. The games so far after it have been a disappointment...Renting is a must because of those games before a buy.
I personally dont like shooting games as walking around with guns and shooting from far away is only so much fun. They are so oversaturated right now its ridiculous! Just like fighting games I personally think they need to cool it off and take a break for a while. They are a dime a dozen and aren't that much different from each other to receive high scores for ANY system....
