Great games along with unrivaled software support with monthly updates that are listening to the community. I can see Xbox selling very well this holiday and in 2015.

PC misconceptions 101
-Cost... PC gaming is cheaper than console gaming in the long run. We don't pay for online, we pay for cheaper software, better marketplace with sales. You will make up the PC initial cost with cheaper software. I'll take a higher initial cost over.

There is so much more to graphics then resolution and frame rates. AI, lighting, tessellation, physics, antialiasing, etc. Which all benefit from a better GPU.

Even if that was the case calling the PS4 GPU a beast is still hyperbole. If he was referring to it's the best on consoles then clearly yes. But certainly wouldn't call it a beast.
Also not once in the article was there a comparison so I think it's a long shot saying it's pretty clear they were talking about consoles.
I'd call it lower mid range card at best. Yet at this junction of PC hardware that isn't too bad.
FPS aren't known for customization just because you never even see what you look like during the game so less important. Compared to many MMO games it's lackluster. Not well versed in MMOFPS games though.

Well my PC runs multiplatform the best which is where most go. I play multiplatform games on the One because that's where my friends play.
There is this weird phenomenon that goes on at N4G. When it comes to PC vs console articles it's all about preference and there is no winner and they want to play nice with PC gamers.
When it comes to their own consoles themselves PS4 vs XBox One then it's PS4 all the way and the whole preference rational and game rational just get thrown out the window.
Console gamers should go back fighting among themselves. It's funnier that way.
