Sure if you buy consoles to play multiplatform games why are you using a console?
Of course this is all opinion. I never said it wasn't just expressing why I think Xbox One is a must buy.
Having the same kernel doesn't mean the same UI. It just means that they are using the same tools and can be ported very easily.
It's the same thing you are seeing in OSx Yosemite and iOS8 or Andriod and Chrome OS. Companies want continuity but that doesn't mean the UI is the same.

Why are people talking about this game running 60fps so much as if that is some feat? It's a last generation game.
I hope it could run 60fps on the current generation hardware.
Console software is very expensive as well. And then you get suckered into paying for games again for better visual fidelity... Damn these companies got you good.

Consoles aren't plug and play anymore... You have to update so much now and even update controllers now. Gone are the days that consoles are simply plug and play with no issues.
But if you want convenience over robust features and quality then by all means do you thing.
