What's inside the Vita isn't some ground breaking technology as most modern phones can out spec the Vita. Now before people kill me I'm not comparing the two I'm just saying that the Vita isn't some unbeaten beast and by Q1 2013 it won't be a contest.
I think ultimately Sony will have to lower the price of the Vita as you say because consumers don't care what is inside of their machine more along the lines of what can do something comparable but ...
I wouldn't call MAG my favorite game of this generation because that would likely be a lie and there are too many good games to justify calling this one but it helped give me hope for next generation.
MAG showed that online can have massive battles and large online multiplayer which is likely to be expanded upon but besides that the game wasn't exactly different I didn't see something that warrents this game being put in a top 10 of this generation.
That isn't fair to call all of F2P a joke off of one company.

1. It doesn't support all games or even close so that would be irrational to say the Vita PS3 combo is a viable competitor.
2. Vita/PS3 combo is expensive and games must be purchased twice
Last of Us isn't the standard we should necessarily look forward to as the next generation standard. It hasn't even come out yet.

People are getting upset because someone actually decided not to release a broken product? Isn't everyone always complaining about how they get away with that. I'm not really understanding the problem it seems people are just mad that it is late for other platforms yet timed DLC isn't new or late PC releases.
