The launch 360s were a shit box but the new ones are very reliable.
It would be interesting to know the failur rate on the fat units. I had a ylod on my first ps3 and my second one I gave to a friend and I'm now on my third and I keep it for exclusives and use my 360 as my main console. My 360 lauch unit lasted 5 years and my new ones going strong. So all in all I'm very happy and lucky to get to own two systems and not be biased that I would screw myself out out of playing great games like lost oddysey and allen wake and uncharted and infamous.
Not trying to start a war but the ps3 has had its share of the ylod as I have had one as well as a rrod. So subtracting 360 rrods is only fair if we know a true number of ylod and we don't.
the game is very enjoyable but its boarderline insane in other areas. I love rpgs and so far this one does not dissapoint. The 360 has sure had a great lineup of rpgs this gen I just wish more people would support them. The ps3 also has a decent amount but they seem to more supportted which is a problem for the 360 and its shooter box mentality.
EhI see comments on here that brainless 360 fanboys are responsible for this. Why would 360 fans want apple to buy sony? I don't get it?
This device is out for people to judge and I suggest you wait for the final release of kinect before you judge it. Its only fair. I personally will not use either device as I love my controller games and use gaming as a mode to relax from a stressfull day and I don't want to come home from working hard all day to swing my arms and jump all around my living room. What will the neighbors down below think lol

I own both consoles and prefer my ps3 at times but the xmb is not on par with live as updates do take 5 to 10 min weekly where 360 is less then a minute once a year. That said its a hassle but psn is free and I can overlook a lot for the value sony is offering and ms I hope will follow but they seem to greedy as live is going up again in price. Oh well play them both and have the best of both worlds.
If its like the other updates it will take less then 30 sec for the whole process.
Someone asked about a patch. I waas playing the 360 version at 3am pst last night and it signed me out and downloaded a patch and signed me back it. It takes less then 5 sec but it seems to stop the freezes and the loads are much better.
I did not read the article so please don't be mad. I don't know if this will help anyone but I remember that they had an article about it when oblivian launched and this worked for me on fallout nv. This will help with the memory issues and speed up load times by over half. When the game starts to load hold any button down until you see the new vegas title screen. Then let up on the button and this clears the cache and will speed the game up a lot. It works as I tried it several times...

I. Seen a flying two headed cow ain the dino town. It was trying to walk up the stirs and had no room so it just flew through the air. I also had it freeze once and multiple enimies getting stuck on the landscape. I have the 360 vversion. I hope it patches soonk but the game is fun.
Being a multi console owner I really hate paying for live so I usually find deals. I payed 30.00 last time. Psn is great service since its free. You can't compareit to live since you pay for live and live is smoother and free of long installs and downloading times. I got the 360 version and so far its froze on me once and I have put about 5 hours init. I hope that's not a sign but its fairly decent and enjoyable.
