I just bought a 360 for my liing room with that stupid kinect bundle. Gamestop says they are selling fast but do I believe them I guess in time we will see. Btw this is my 2nd 360 and I allready have 2 ps3s. I did not get kinect for myself but for family to enjoy.

I agree ms is taking a big gamble and throwing a lot at kinect but sony also did the same with bluray when they put everything on the line against hddvd. Well here in las vegas all I can find is a few bundles. There's a waiting list everywhere and vegas is not a small city.

Hate to agree but I subscribe to four gaming mags and gamepro I quit subscribing too one year ago because they seemed biased in the articles to favoring the ps3 and as a mag you can't show favortism and be a multi source mag. If kinect sold less then what vgcharts are saying then greenturd would have kept quiet. I hate to say it but its doing well and its on every tv channel and magazine and even the news and is the hottest item for christmas. That's what 500 million will buy you. Is the product any good for me as a core gamer? Hell No.
You talk as being last is bad and that must make ps3 look bad then since its been last for almost 5 years. That said I will talk reality and that is the ps3 is doing vry well for releasing a year later and finally closing the gap. Its a good machine and desrerves the love and ms also deserves the credit for hanging in there with all that they have been through. I'm sure most people will have fun with kinect for what is made for and when they want there hardcore games the 360 still has a controller that you can use. I won't be picking either up as in move or kinect but putting people down for enjoying it is something you will never see me do.

Why would anyone think sony could record sales to consumers number one and then number2 they would also be giving a lower number then the competition by saying sold to consumers when common sense tells you that sony would only report sold to retailers not consumers. We will know by the end of the year if this pays off for ms and I'm sure kinect does work fairly well but the problem is this: xbox players and ps3 fans have a valid point as to what will ms now do for its core audience. I. Was in my las vegas best buy last night and they are stocked to the ceiling on the 99.00 move. They also had about 10 kinects left but to say move is out of stock in the states would be wrong as I see it everywhere as well as. Kinect.
