I like what you said but i needed to correct you as ms now has more first party studios then sony by about 5 or 6. Just most of them are working on future gen products.
At godsmar prolly defective hardware as I dont know anybody who had had a launch ps3 not go out as well as many after them. Next gen both ms and sony need to make more reliable hardware. My sega saturn and genisis as well as my ti994a are all still running.

Nah Sonys on there way out. They are hurting in almost every area and been in the red five years straight and closing studios left and right while ms keeps opening more and now have over twenty studios. I think we will see alot of original ips from ms next gen but there retail offerings will again be to what sells and not that many ips sell and thats why ms has so many new games on arcade.
This dev had a entire generation to get a game out and still failed. This is not good for Sony.
It sounds like an mmo with constant dl support and that is what is rumored anyways. A rpg brand new ip with mmo elements for the next xbox.
How do u think these games like forza and halo and gears got started? They were new ips that were well recieved.
Speak for yourself. Im 41 and have been a avid gamer all my life. I do spend alot on games but I find some real gems in games that have little to no mention. For instance magna carta, lost oddessy, and I have been replaying dishonored. I loved the uncharted series but the last one just felt stale to me. I dont mind sequels if they are well done and not a cash in. Im also very ready for a new generation of consoles as what I play on pc has passed consoles years ago. Its not all about graphics ...
This site is so biased and the moderators need to do there job. We have a person above that states xbox live is a joke and ms is a bad company and thet get well said. I feel sony and psn is a joke but do you think i would ever get well said for saying that. This site needs to start moderating fanboys are they might as well just make this a pure sony fan site as thats what it basicaly is. The articles on this site can go both ways but the fans are very one sided.
Dishonored yes Journey No. If journey is a goty then so is dust and so is minecraft. Dl games dont usually get regognized in the goty catagory which is usually retail titles. I know sony has put some of these in retail as well as ms but these will not be considered. Im not saying journey is a bad game as its far from that just not in the correct catagory.
When they are mandatory ....how do you know how the game will run without them? My guess is it would not run at all. The 360 will run the game fine either with install or without and the 360 allows yiu to install the entire game when the ps3 is just partial so it can run at all. I stand by my belief as a console the ps3 is a mess.
