I plan on upgrading one of my one x to a Series X as soon as they more back in stock.
Exclusives do matter, but money matters more. I've said this and so have others. MS, Nintendo, Sony are businesses and selling software is what makes them money.
These companies plan strategically on what will make them more money. Now that software development cost are now in the multi millions Sony and MS are bringing more of their software to other platforms to bring in a larger return.
I'd play through one more time on a 60fps mode, but only one more time. I was very disappointed after I finished the game. Also, playing with Abby was great but the story is what F'ed up the game overall for me.
I'm looking forward to this game. Could have Ori potential
Not just the picture. Some holding it in hand showing the dimensions, ports, etc.
Was that picture proven to be real?
Things I would like to see sometime before this month:
- The UI
- The system tear down
- How expandable storage will work
- Boost mode
- The console in hand to see how big it actually is
- Performance mode vs non performance mode
There's more I want to list, but can we at least start with these?
It's not a deal breaker on whether I'm getting the game or not but I like the older model.
We'll have to see about the next gen games but so far so good. RDR 2 makes my PS4 pro sound like it's about to take off of a run way!
Sounds great!
(Pun intended)
Edit. Checking my sources
Less waiting, more gaming.
Yes please!
With the Tech inside the Series X and PS5 compared to current gen it's definitely going to be hard to fire up an one x or a ps4 pro. The loading times for example is going to one reason for sure!
Also those kind of gamers can purchase the 512 GB SSD expansion card and pay half the price. It will get the Series S to a little over 1 TB
it would be marked to the people who invested in the Series S. The additional 512 of space will get you 1 TB of storage and you won't need to buy a full TB out of the gate.
The purpose of the Series S is next gen at an affordable price. So this is the drive that should be marketed.
There is the cheaper 512GB SSD card that's half the price. But nobody wants to talk about that one
Sold out already 😞
I got the expandable storage. I took the plunge now so I won't have to think about it for at least a year. I do wish that it would have been 2 Tb though.
A Metal Gear Remake sounds amazing!!
But a Remake without Kojima and the original cast is what has me skeptical.
But that's only for the 1 TB drive. The 512 drive is half that. Buy the 512 drive for the Series S and you will have a TB.
The Series S is really marketed towards the casual gamer anyway. They will have no real pressure to upgrade to 1 TB of storage out of the gate.
The price will go up to 70 bucks and has been up already How do you ask? D....L....C!!!!
We've been paying over the 60 dollar pice for games for most of this gen and right into the next.
