This is like a good game of bowling strike after strike. Gamers need to put their bias aside and enjoy this great game.
Its also like Tomb Raider (reboot). You craft your weapons and the whole survival aspect is very similar to TR.
I think that's nitpicking. She sounds like someone who feels there is more to this world than what she's being told. Like someone who is a bit odd and different than the rest.
@deafdani OH man Kid Icarus Uprising was far from perfect. Charming game but it controlled horribly. I hope it gets a sequel with great controls

Zelda , fast rmx , snipperclips and snake pass is enough for me in one month.. plus i got Horizon zero dawn, Nier Automata and Mass Effect (for PS4). People act like they are rich and would buy all the releases if it had more available which is a lie.. if they (Nintendo) release with too many great games you will get the best one or two and overlook the others. There is no problem in waiting to get a new console until its library is to your liking. Us...
@bouzebbal I wouldn't say we are having a wii u/ vita all over again. I think you are overreacting. If you just like zelda mainly then, Nintendo console isn't really a good purchase for you.
One key thing everyone crying about lack of games are missing, is that its March . We are getting games each month .. then we have E3 shortly after. Then we have the late summer and fall holiday season.

Of all the games to say I will wait on due to a backlog.. probably some of the previous purchases could have been waited on. I had Horizon preordered since August of last year LOL.
I will get it if I start liking the games ready to play...I own most of the games I want to play on Xbox One. this service is great for newcomers and those with small libraries. As for right now I will pass on Xbox Pass.. (but I will be checking to see if it peaks my in interests)
Are you getting Horizon zero dawn?.. if so, then I wouldn't pre judge Zelda based on your older experiences because they changed quite a bit and it might surprise you. But if you don't like adventure games or open world then I understand.

You don't buy a console for its launch titles alone... its an investment.. many bought the xbox one or ps4 on a promise of the future to come. Fortunately for PS4 owners their commitment paid off. Xbox so-so (imo). Zelda is an excellent way to start a console and by this holiday it will look much brighter. Hopefully E3 can paint a more vivid picture of Switch's not too distant future.
@ comments about strength of Zelda.. wether the Switch lineup is strong or not its up to the buyer to make up his or her mind if they want to dive in. There is no definitive answer to that question. Launches for other consoles are in the same boat. Either you like what's available or you don't.. like i said before this is just a matter of opinion.. we can be civil about this.
could have but put Specs and games aside and what separated PlayStation from the rest was PS' image. PlayStation had become a household name and became a mature gamer's dream. I always said Nintendo made games Fun but PlayStation made gaming cool and acceptable by society.
@Bronxs15 Gamecube had some of the best Nintendo games ever. Metroid Prime 1&2 were fantastic, Wind Waker felt like a Cartoon adventure, Super Mario Sunshine was great, Mario Kart DD was one of the best kart racers, Mario Sports games were at their best, Fire Emblem POR, Pikmin 1& 2 and Smash Bros Melee.
RE4 was awesome, RE remake was great as well. Link in Soul Calibur II was classic. Skies of Arcadia Legends
@moonman great point...Taking risks sometimes doesn't pay off but at least they try. I am happy the Switch went the hybrid route and was thinking that was their future seeing that they do extremely well in the handheld sector but console wise they have slipped a bit. I hope Switch is successful and grants us the gaming experience we desire. Can't wait for Friday LOL.
