Honestly it probably would I think that's the whole point of it not getting higher reviews. I think had the game been priced at $40 or less or maybe some kind of challenge mode (sort of like MGSV:GZ did) then it could have at least had legs. MGS:GZ for example is a fairly limited game and even that can last 15 hours or so if you do all the challenges.

How can visuals be bombastic? You keep throwing around adjectives like that and maybe people will take you more seriously.

Thank god Game Spew set the record straight. Now I just need to see what GamerSkeet.com thinks about the game.

Well to me, anything with the name "Dualshockers" will have just about as much objectivity as Xbox.com or PlayStation.com and they like to bait.

Here are some other easy games to get perfect gamerscore on: Need for Speed Most Wanted, Fight Night Round 3, Open Season, The Avatar Last Airbender game, anything by Telltale, anything that says CSI or NCIS or Lost on it, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Brothers, hmmm not sure what else thats just off the top of my head.

As for Xbox "struggling" in Japan and Microsoft staying in the territory, Japan's market works much differently than ours. They still sell Dreamcast games and crap out there for god sakes. It also wouldn't make any sense for a developer in Japan to cancel multiplat versions of Xbox games because Japan isn't even a major market anymore for consoles, NA, Europe, and the emerging Asian (including China) market is.

The console market in general has been suf...

Years ago the sites weren't bad man. It's been going down hill for quite sometime, but I've been coming here for quite sometime ever since years ago when n4g was called something else. Generally what happens is when these sites post they have a few guys waiting to approve the stories, and then they will continuously click on the link and comment so the degrees go up quicker.

Two of the top selling games on both X1 and PS4 was Destiny and AC:U, both got so-so reviews as well. Really what it boils down to is gamers just like dumb pretty things sometimes. Just like movie goers don't give a shit that the latest Fast and Furious or Transformers get horrible scores from movie critics.

I don't even go to sites like Game bolt or dualshock I just like to see what people are saying in the comments here.

Please show me where Capcom said they prefer working on PS4. It's the same deal as the Tomb Raider game. SFV is also coming to PC so it wouldn't be a stretch to make it on Xbox One as well later on, probably in the form of SFV Super Turbo Hyper Fighting Megamix.

CoD does have a solid foundation though. The Order has a solid presentation for sure, but gameplay wise it seriously lacks.

I think it's unfortunate that this is what developers do to make money but the game also probably got higher scores because it had more game to it in the first place.

LBP3 and FH2 are on older generation consoles respectively. This generation quite frankly has had the worst start in terms of games I've ever seen that are exclusive to the platform that are actually worth getting. Just the library from either 360 or PS3 in their first years had a better exclusives library than either Xbox One and PS4 combined.

Only one game according to VGChartz is exclusive to PS3 in the top 10 and that is Gran Turismo. Xbox 360 only has 3 and one of them was a pack-in game with kinect.

How is it shady? If someone is spending $60+ some more if they get a special edition they aren't going to be like "Aw ma gawd this game is horrible" then they just look like an idiot. A reviewer doesn't pay for the game so it's easier to be unbiased. Sony or any company for that matter gives them a copy for review.

A 6.5 isn't a bad score. This is what a 6.5 means according to IGN: "These recommendations come with a boatload of “ifs.” There’s a good game in here somewhere, but in order to find it you’ll have to know where to look, and perhaps turn a blind eye to some significant drawbacks" Gamers that are in love with it seem to believe though that the reviews read like sites such as IGN and Gamespot or giving it a zero, which according to IGN's own scale says: "One of the worst g...

Gamers are always quick to bad mouth reviews that are to high in there opinion because a game is built off of a solid foundation like Halo or Call of Duty. When a game comes out that actually is lacking in content but has good visuals everyone gets upset. Keep it up gamers. Beg for more games like The Order so then later you can begin to complain again about how short games are. Hopefully Ready at Dawn doesn't take what the gamers are saying to heart and go more by what reviews say (great...
