the NGP has a touch sensitive screen and a touch pad on the back. they showed a game that you could, "pinch" the game world using the touch screen and pad at the same time.
idk about all this talk about which one is better or any of this other crap people a putting on web but, i'll just wait and see how all this pans out.
i didn't like the DS when it came out. ( i've been gaming for a long time too. i even had and still have the origina...
Actually, when some of the first games came out for the PS3 (exclusives) they were laughed at and ridiculed. and lets not even talk about 3rd party games. which caused some people to question the quality of the software coming to the PS3.
and whats to say that it won't sell better than the PS2? the PS2 numbers came over TIME! about ten years if i'm correct?!
@ KR
being able to mod the HARDWARE is fine..however you don't own the OS! That's why (if you read the start up agreement)Sony reserves the right to add or take away features as they see fit!
it sucks but....that's the way it is! because i can bet you this, when any kind of publisher comes to sue about copy right infringements..i can sure as hell bet you they won't be knocking on your door for payment!
@ Frag,
I under stand how that is a nice feature but, i hate it when you're in a MP match and half your team mates are in some kind of party chat. you can't talk to them or just say watch out and vice versa!
to me, that's when this feature is a waste of time!
NO not really.
I'm in Ohio and i work in Michigan, and if you pay attention, you can see a heck of lot more MS adds than you do Sony's. Hell, MS is working with Burger King with their...win a kinect every 15min! (that's probably how they SOLD all those Systems).
Either way, MS doesn't mess around when it comes to advertising!
He'll, you can even launch into multi-player games as well. And you've been able go do both for a while now.
It could be used a party system if need be. Home has game events almost daily. You just need to know when and where...and this is where I blaim Sony for not posting things like this around the web. If you're not in the inner circle or know some one who is, you'll never know.
people are playing other games at the moment? I didn't pick it up soooooo..i'm a hater? or maybe, i'm playing MAG and MOH right now! I might pick it later but, I usually wait for most of the bugs to be fixed before I pick a COD game for my PS3....and my 360 for that matter!
not that many people bought it! After they started taking it out then, it became a problem for the "late" buyers. I have full BC on my PS3 but then again, I got it when it launched!
plus, i wounder if he feels the same about the DS? hell every time you turn around there's a new version of it on the verge of coming out.
if it has to use UMD type media, i hope they use mini blu-ray based disc. oh, and have 2 analog sticks! lol
XBLG wasn't much better than PSN when it launched. it also had consistent updates bugs in it's firmware.
PSN has a good foundation and if Phil was still here...i truly believe that, we would be further ahead than we are now. HOME if used, could provide some of things we want like a Party system. i've launched many a game with friends from HOME.
i went to NY this past weekend for a JayZ and Eminem concert and walked into the PlayStation HQ off of 59th and 7th. Tried it and loved it! We have a "motion controlled" system in our house already so, getting this is not a real stretch!
i think the leaked Reach game didn't help any. But, I completely agree with you on that, MS and Sony had a great year for games!
HDMI, Blu-Ray, no controller, and larger HDDs are not needed they are right? considering that they now have 2 out 3 things i just listed in their systems....now!
When did this happen? What game was it? Wow, stopreading for a few days and every thing goes goofy!
I think that game could be fun with the Move controler.
Semper Fi!
on topic,
all this does is tell me that, the PS3 was ahead of it's time.
he did ware something ON his hands! he wore gloves with lights on the tips of the fingers! sooo, what would be different from holding the light in his hand?
@TBP
WoW!!
