i could stay logged into the PSN while watching a movie off a disc! got kinda used to it on my 360. but always have the option to turn it off!
I think MS a Sony are to trying to beat a few other big corporations (cable, satellite,and Apple) in being the one and only set top "BOX" in the living room. with more and more moms/wives and dads/husbands using FB/Twitter to keep in touch with friends and fam, this was a natural step for the systems.
that could bring some life back into a few Ad-H0C only PSP games!
has been there since RE5! i can't remember what update it came out with!
HOME has a lil of what you're looking for in a party system. you and your friends can start in your apartment or a club house. it's just an option.
just like people play a 360 more than once for the achievements!
IW just posted that they had an outage and are adding more servers! so how is this PSN's fault again? and that's why people are disagreeing with you.
and come on PS3 owners, you knew that MS was cuffing IW balls from the beginning of development. did you really thing that IW would let the 360 have that many problems from the get go? (or publicly announce them to the world like they did the PS3 version)MS has been footing the bill on almost every thing when it comes to this game! ...

both version have their problems but, IW only publicly addresses the PS3's problems and the patch?
And then I come to N4G and see a few 360 owners talking about how the PS3 ALWAYS has to be patched?
WOW! I've had my 360 since launch and i can tell you the 360 had it's own share of patches to stop the damn thing from just failing! From my understanding, the 360 also has a patch coming and that was the lead system.
Sorry to burst a few peoples bubbles, not every body on the system has a mic! In case some of you forgot, the Arcade 360 has been sold with out a mic for about a year now.
And just about ANY blu-tooth/USB headset can work with the PS3. so how hard is it to have a mic?
that tag line changed fast for MS didn't? now you have Twitter and FB apps , NetFlix, and some thing of a cheap azz version of HOME!
Hasn't anybody noticed, that MS has stop talking about the attach rate of their games? now, they have started talking about attach rates for accessories?!
it would be kind of hard to tell devs that most of the console sells are re-buys because of faulty hardware! it looks good on the books but, it it's useless for game sells! i mean, some of ...
at launch! hell, it was just like PSN when i got my 360.
it took them about a lil under 2yrs to get to basically where they are now! last time i checked, Sony had cross game invite and text chat, still no voice yet. if you believe some of the crap you read on the web, there's some shenanigans behind this!)and FWV 3.0 just made things a hell of a lot easier! they added some more features to the PSN ID card.
i wouldn't trade it for any thing! and i never worried about HDD space!
how much is a 500gb going for now on new egg? last timed i checked it was $99 for a good one!
1) don't make assumptions about people.....more often than not, you'll be wrong! i did read your hole entire post.
and wish 4 out of 6 was an exaggeration. but the truth is, it's not! and when you can out and get a x360 for 199.....it's almost a done deal. but, lets also be real and think about this. a PS3 owner may go out and buy another Ps3 but not 3 or 4 more at a 399 price tag...that's way less likely to happen!
just because your brother had his system fixed, doesn't mean that, somebody else hasn't just went out and bought another system "JUST"so they could still play there games while the their original box was getting fixed!
i know 6 people i work with that did just that! some of them didn't even TURN IN their other system. i have 4 out of the 6, that are on their 4th box!
and some people think that they have to make a whole new account for their new box.

if the PSP would have launched with the media manager, it would be a whole another story!
how is the Storm for games? i'll be picking one up in a few months.
