I have to disagree. The way the story is told in this game is nothing short of amazing. I'm guessing these guys either weren't paying attention, or didn't find any of the voice recordings. And even if that's so, the story is still brilliantly told. Anyone who has finished the game will no doubt agree. Especially the last few levels where everything starts to come together, it's incredible. I don't see any reason for these guys to think the storytelling is bad.

Well, with Blu Ray it kind of allows devs to be kinda lazy. They could very well have compressed, but with the amount of space on a Blu Ray disc they don't have to.
There are other advantages of Blu Ray, though.
There's probably no other reason this couldn't fit on a DVD other than the devs were too lazy to compress.

But considering that me, thousands of other people and every single review site agree that this game is very kick ass and more than worthy of game of the year...

I've stood by this theory ever since this argument was raised, and my argument is...
With movies, if something scary is going to happen, most people will cover they're eyes and ears or whatever. With a videogame, you can't do that. You're controlling the character, you have to go through it just like the character with no closing your eyes or covering your ears, because you have to push the buttons. The game can do whatever it wants to mess with you, and you can't just skip pas...
