consoles are cheap compared to a lot of other tech. I would really appreciate the extra frames/second of playability, maybe better draw distances etc...
Just being a 4K bluray player would justify the cost.
Developers would still aim for a good experience with the largest player base, but the option to get a slightly better experience is enticing.
yeah, you need to be able to track rotation and position. If you look at a phone, they just track rotation/tilt at the moment. This is fine if you don't want to move your head around.

I was disappointed my logitech wheel isn't supported, but I have to say the dualshock experience is fun. (not a sim, but requires precision to do well)

Yeah, I wouldn't want him playing it, but he is not my son and he already played it on his sister's xbox. He also plays GTA IV on PC. It is surprising. Last year, it was all mine craft. Now it is open world sandbox games. I know other young people playing GTA 5. The parents tell me that apparently, the kids at that age don't understand the "mature" parts. I have to disagree, but I gave my nephew about 70-80 games, so hope he branches out more soon.
I gave my ps3 with boxes of games to my 8 year old nephew. He loves it and plays it all the time, especially GTA 5 which seems to be very popular with 8 year olds!
