the amount of hate is hate for this game is insane. Not nearly as many articles were written about other linear games like Ryse. sure if you view it as a simple time waster then just measure in hours. A man takes his gaming as how quality the experience was and just how much fulfillment and joy he gets out of those hours he has to enjoy games. A good comparison would be you would value daytime TV because you can spend 1000s of hours getting new stuff all the time, but a man would prefer a great film that lasts just 2 hours but is undoubtedly more enjoyable and rewatchable.
actually their last financial report was very good. They're now operating with a net income and the only really bad division left is mobile. In fact TVs are even close to being profitable after a decade of bleeding money. Financials, gaming, music, and movies are all profiting very nicely.

Reviewers are dumb. As an owner of both a WiiU and PS4 a man can tell you they've delivered similar exclusive quality. Sure Infamous doesn't benefit from the nostalgia of the Nintendo kids growing up to be reviewers but it's just as good of a game as Mario 3D World. Actually Sony is not hemorrhaging money anymore. They're making a profit again according to their most recent financial report. Also they are really only losing a lot in the mobile division so as you say they should get rid of that. Insurance, entertainment (SCE), movies, and even TVs are doing well now (ok TVs aren't great but hey they're better than they have been for a decade).
history? Sony's worst selling home console sold more than MS's best selling home console. Sony has now won 3 out of 4 gens it has been in. They said they'll sell the console for 10 years. PS2 sold for 12 but it didn't sell 5m a year by the end it's the greatest selling console of all time.
That's being generous to X1. 100m is probably the minimum prediction for PS4 at this point (reasonably) so if X1 can achieve 50m that would be admirable. That's 50% less sales for X1
it was $40 and a man almost pulled the trigger but still had to finish Apotheon (going for platinum), Transistor (same), retro city DX, Duck Tales, Thief (maybe, depending on if a man actually likes it), Yakuza 4, Entwined, Valiant Hearts, and Flow. yeah but a man doesn't play those online modes. Online modes are usually something a man just tries a few times then the SP is what keeps him coming back because you can replay a great cinematic SP over and over for all time. MP gets boring after a week at most for 99% of games (not many are regularly played other than COD after a year).
so if they throw in a crappy online mode that makes it a better game? what is wrong with people!? That's like saying this movie isn't worth the ticket price as much because it's only an hour and a half while this other one is obviously worth twice the ticket price because it's 3 hours long. Sony tried to experiment last gen with $30 R&C Nexus, $40 Puppeteer, and $40 Sly 4. Those 3 games it didn't seem to help with the sales compared to the launch revenue they lost. Now that was largely due to marketing not being present at all but still you can see Sony experimented with it and was punished financially.

not to mention you can expect the next spiderman to make boatloads as it's now got the Marvel studios name behind it and will get a Civil War appearance boost. Think of how valuable lesser known properties got after they got involved with Avengers. Now apply that same boost to Spiderman and you could see Spiderman 3 levels.
