A man only ever usually died on the bosses in Demon's Souls. However they would artificially add to the game's length by making you go all the way back to the start of the level every time you died which was stupid. The entire home console market in Japan continues to shrink every year. So that could be it.
We all know PS4 will sell more in the end. Only 1 Playstation home console has sold less than 100m and it took a $600 price tag and a year's head start for their main competitor to do it as well as a slew of other factors. Playstation consoles have ridiculous legs and Wii fell off a cliff after a couple years of craziness.
What about Wii sports? It's the highest selling title ever! Oh wait...

With X1 back to it's non-holiday (read fire sale) baseline expect this graph to plummet. I wouldn't be surprised if X1 falls behind 360 by this next holiday it really doesn't perform as well Jan-October.

Also this video says a lot of a man's frustrations with the game. Hopefully they fix hit detection and checkpoints in Bloodborne (platinumed Demon's Souls so a man doesn't mind a challenge but checkpoints don't make it harder they just make it take longer and make you do the easy parts over and over).

A man platinumed Demon's Souls but TLoU on Grounded was much harder. Demon's Souls only took longer because of the lack of checkpoints. That doesn't make the game harder it just makes you do the easy parts again and again.

Well a man is not into MP centric games but good to bring as much as possible to PS4 especially when it's getting rid of a moneyhat exclusive.
It's big for hardware but it's actually better to launch your game away from the flood in November. That way you get your initial surge and attention instead of being lost in a sea of other releases. Then you get a secondary surge in November and usually see some bundles.
Yeah it's easy to see why each has gone with their strategies this gen and it seems to be satisfying everyone more. WiiU also has had several nice software updates and runs very smoothly now.
