Movies get moved to new formats and definitions and anniversary editions all the time. It doesn't stop new movies from coming out lol. You can pay homage to the past constantly while coming out with new content as well. These are not mutually exclusive things

Yeah a man doesn't see all these Sony and Nintendo first parties that have proven themselves time and again disappearing overnight. That's what defines their platforms why wouldn't you just get a PC or Steam Box without exclusives?
Let's hold off on that. Bloodborne has set the standard high and Halo and Zelda will be up there. Also Witcher 3, MGS5, and many more 3rd parties and downloadable titles will be up there (Abzu, No man's Sky, Everyone's Gone to Rapture, and Rime) as possible candidates depending on how reviews go for them.
One thing a man is looking forward to more than anything is seeing Ratchet and Clank reboot trailer/gameplay and release date! Hell where's the movie release date!?
A man is thinking 20M+ sales by the end of Feb. plus the most announced and released games compared to their main rival (listwar.com) has HAD them in the driver's seat. They can only go up from here and unlike MS haven't announced most of their 2016 lineup yet (Phantom Dust, QB, Scalebound) in order to appear to have as much first party as their rival (they have the most studios so obviously they have the most and don't have to announce far out to throw off perception).

A lot of games could be. Then again it's all about what genre you like. A man doesn't like Bloodborne style games but he can recognize its greatness. That being said he'd never call it the GOAT because it's personal taste.
