Exactly. I was really pleased when I heard rumors about Halo MCC coming to PC. I thought that their Windows Store was going to be a heathly competition for Steam. It actually made me interested to get an Xbox One. But then the Windows Store ended up like a shitty store for mobiles and tablets and the rumors about Halo MCC was false.
They only do so to have even more sales. Plain and simple.
A lot of people don't have next-gen consoles. And most CoD players don't really follow gaming news. They'll buy the game without even knowing what they're buying. It's another trick from Activision to get more money.
Wanted to buy one so badly but couldn't find a copy anywhere.

That's cool, I don't know why they did it differently on consoles... On PS4 I was in a party with two of my friends and since they were each other's partner, the game placed me with a random player. I couldn't see my party members, but I was able to see and spawn on a random guy. What the heck? Make party members yellow and your partner green. Simple.

How about making our party visible on the map? Trying to play with friends is annoying and almost useless.
It doesn't. At all. Surprisingly, this game feels more like Plants VS Zombies Garden Warfare rather than a Battlefield.

Not everyone was entitled for refunds. A lot of people bought Steam keys from Green Man Gaming, Humble Bundle, Gamersgate, etc. So a lot of people were stuck with a broken product for months. It's not a "gift", it's a freaking apologies to their fans for messing up so badly.
