I think Call of Duty is great but there is nothing as visceral as Killzone 2. I also think Resistance 2 has the best FPS controls on consoles. I don't like holding the left thumb stick to sprint. I wish R2's implementation of the sprint was standard across all FPS.
People should have no excuse to purchase a ps3. There are deals if you look for them. I got my ps3 back in 2007 around the time when the price had droped by $100 dollars and Sony stopped producing the 60 gb version. I have about 100 ps2 games so I knew that I had to get the 60 gb version. Its been well worth the money. I have been truly enjoying game deals this generation. I got more games than I have time to play them. I got 60 PS3 games and counting. :)
I got a chance to go to two different BB where I live. I got 007 (w shirt), Pure, Ferrari challenge, SC IV, MLB 08, and overlord for PS3 and maximo vs army of zin for PS2. Why dis...Come on. Just be honest. Sony exclusives have better graphics than any other games out there on any platform. Say what you want about the gameplay or length of these games but Lair, heavenly sword, uncharted were released in 2007. Those graphics in those games are incredible. Honestly, Lets not kid ourselves. Sony has had titles that Microsoft has matched visually (technically and artistically) since 2007. I can give a laundry list but what's the point. The XBox 360 is not as powerful as the PS3. We all knew this from the raw numbers and the technology in the consoles since the beginning. Back then everyone was saying that XBox 360 games are on par. Now Sony is talking with the games. People forget that XBox 360 has the 2 advantages of being easier to develop...
People need to put their fanboy feelings aside and be honest. 2008 was clearly and easily the year of the PS3 for various reasons, most importantly the games. Overall, the PS3 had the advantage when it came to quantity and quality of games. Besides, blu-ray won, multiplats are now equal on both systems, home was released, significant improvements in XMB, videostore, psn exclusives, etc...etc. Sony released way too many quality exclusive games this year for people to sit here and act like ...
I am noticing a trend...poor xbox! I thought multiplats were supposed to be better on xbox 360
Only difference that I noticed is the bullet holes in the wood in the scene where Chris is shooting the skulls. Bullet holes are in the PS3 version but not in the 360 version. Therefore PS3 version has a slight advantage if you are looking for differences between the two versions. Otherwise, they are essentially identical. Good job Capcom.
Comparison is using system defaults. Check the disclaimer at the end. Therefore this comparison is invalid. We all know PS3 looks better with proper settings.
PS3 version looks a lot better. It has better textures throughout. At 18 secs take a look at the textures on the soldiers clothes and on the soldiers hand. PS3 version has more pronounced veins like Fight Night Round 3. At 45 seconds PS3 has slightly more detailed facial textures. At 2:11, PS3 version has more rain effects like in Call of Duty 4. Both versions look pretty close, but the the PS3 version has a slight edge. Developers are really starting to improve their PS3 development. ...

This is day 1 purchase for me. street fighter 2 turbo on the snes is one of my favorite games ever. I can beat anyone in that game. So an updated downloadable version and a 2d street fighter iv is right up my alley. I will see you chumps online in both games, be prepared to lose. lol
I don't know why people are so impressed with the graphics of this game. They don't look that good to me. certainly not as good as a lot of other games that are already out, not to mention games that that are coming in 2009.
I have to admit that I was not impressed with the demo like I was with the motorstorm demo. devs need to stop releases demos of old builds of their games. I do have faith that regardless of what scores motorstorm 2 gets, its a better game in every which way to motorstorm 1
The Wii sucks graphics wise. I have bought every nintendo console except the Wii. I stopped supporting nintendo when they decided they don't care about graphics. I can only name about 3 games that I would buy if I had a Wii (mario galaxy, zelda twilight princese, metroid prime 3). And the sad thing is I don't even need a wii to get twilight princess. I have to admit that wii tennis is additive. We have a wii in the office.

The 360 has some games with good graphics but you guys have to admit when it comes to breath taking graphics the PS3 has the 360 beat. If Konami is able to bring MGS4 to the 360 then they would have pushed the 360 further than any other developer and I don't think it will run as smooth as the ps3 version.
Some of you people really need to get your eyes checked out or better monitors. Dead Space looks better on the PS3. It looks sharper and more crisp. The PS3 version has better lighting and colors. The textures pop out more on the PS3 version. The 360 version looks like it has a slight blur filter over it. Some of you guys need to take another look at the video.
Killzone didn't fail. Sony games have sales longevity. LBP anyone. People were so worried that it wasn't selling. Now look at LBP numbers. Pretty damn good. Besides Sony has a diversity of games. Sales are spread out amongst games.
