I love my PS3 but I am not blindly biased towards it. I own a lot of games and I pretty much play through every demo that is released. I love Dead Space and Dead Space Extraction. I haven't played Darksiders but from what I have played and seen of all 4 hack and slash games, I would rank them in this order
1. GOW III
2. Darksiders
3. Dante's Inferno
4. Bayonetta
Come on...Lol. This is so funny. I played DI last night. It was enjoyable and very smooth. It is definitely a GOW clone but I am okay with that because GOW is my favorite franchise. But seriously DI can't hold GOW III's jock strap. I replayed the GOW III demo right after I finished the DI demo. There is no comparison in graphics...GOW III wins by miles. I think DI is going to be a very impressive game but GOW III is just more epic and Visceral.
If GOW III looks that much better than Uncharted 2, Microsoft might want to release the 720 in 2010. I kid...I kid. :)
All those people that were complaining about GOW III's graphics and gameplay are going to eat their words pretty soon. I never doubted Santa Monica. Those guys know how to make epic and unforgettable games...
Sony also deserves credit for making such a huge improvement from last year. They are definitely in the fight now. This will go down as the closest generation ever in terms of market share when all is said and done.

Wow! If this technique is refined and implemented on all multiplatform titles, it will give the PS3 version an advantage over both the xbox 360 and PC version of games. Very impressive!

360 only owners should just go out and buy a PS3 and play the Final Fantasy XIII the way it was meant to be played...on the PlayStation 3. Its one thing to have slightly lower res textures on a few textures and slightly lower frame rate, but when you are compressing video and audio, having multiple disks, and God knows what else like lower res textures, etc. Its like squeezing a next gen game meant for a next gen system onto a last gen system. We all know which system has the last gen feat...
I think this is going to be a standout game on the 360 in terms of story telling and tech(not as impressive compared to PC and PS3 but definitely impressive compared to other 360 games) but I think the gameplay will hurt its scores.
Looks good. Hopefully it turns into a standout game on the 360 in terms of tech and story telling. I am worried about the gameplay. The developers have spent many years on this game and they don't seem to be bringing anything new in terms of gameplay. It looks like a more polished Alone in the Dark. I would even go as far and say Alone in the Dark brought new gameplay mechanics to the table even though it could have used more polish to perfect these mechanics.

If the 1st quarter is any indication, 2010 is going to go down in history as the best year in gaming until 2011 arrives. Lol. The share volume of AAA games is staggering. I predict that the PS3 will catch up to the 360 in terms of the number of AAA games on Metacritic by the end of 2010. Even the Wii has many AAA titles on the way in 2010. Metroid other M, Galaxy 2, and Zelda Wii(hopefully). The PS3, PC, and 360 have many AAA multiplatform games coming out in 2010. Too many to name. 3...
Anyone with eyes can easily see that Final Fantasy XIII runs circles around Lost Odyssey in visuals. There is absolutely no need for a comparison.

Dante's Inferno will be an excellent game, just not as good as GOW III. Its a better clone than Saints Row is to GTA but its not touching GOW III. I assure you that people aren't saying this because one game is a PS3 exclusive and the other is multiplatform. Play the demos yourself and judge for yourself. The only aspect that I like better in DI demo was the beast riding mechanic and only because it gave you more option than the beast riding mechanic in GOW III demo.
