Heavy Rain is amazing. Look at this new video. The graphics are the best I have ever seen. Better than Killzone 2 and better than Uncharted 2.

Its a game my friend. Everything is real time. You control the characters real time. It just has unique game play controls. Its not a movie, its a game.
Take a look at this new video and then tell me with a straight face that Heavy Rain doesn't look noticeably better than Uncharted 2.

Wow. This is the most impressive video yet. Best graphics I have ever seen hands down!
Anyone noticing the common thing of PS3 exclusives being put against each other. It seems Ps3 exclusive developers are now competing with each other since there isn't competition on the 360...I am just saying...
In my opinion Heavy Rain looks better than Uncharted 2. Art style aside, it is definitely more realistic than Uncharted 2.
I own a PS3 and a Wii. And I am very pro PS3 on N4G.
I love my PS3 and all but the 360 version clearly looks better. I don't know what the rest of you are seeing. I didn't realize PS3 fanboyism was this strong. Seriously guys, the 360 version looks noticeably better. The PS3 version has missing shadows, jaggier shadows, even some of the textures have slightly more detail in the 360 version. Let them have this win. We won with darksiders.
Looks cool!
Microsoft will be late to the party and when they jump in it will be too late.
Sony has the clear advantage in this area since they are a consumer electronics company and a movie company, etc. 3d bluray movies, 3d games, 3d capable bravia HDTV, 3d camcorders, 3d projectors, 3d vaios, etc...
It will be very difficult for a multiplatform developer...i.e. 360 engine developer to beat out a PS3 exclusive developer...i.e. PS3 engine developer in graphics because the PS3 has more power under the hood. Besides PS3 developers happen to be the most talented developers so that also makes it harder for other developers to compete on an equal playing field.
Day one for me!
That was very impressive.
I believe he eventually said he was talking about The Last Guardian once the game was unveiled.
I am just speculating based on the rumors but based off what I know about hardware and software. FYI, I have a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MS in Computer Science so I am not just some young kid speculating on here.
If you follow video game rumors, you realize most of this stuff turns out to be true. Besides, Microsoft did take out the dedicated chip so they have to make up those lost resources on the 360 itself. 10%, 15%, 30% who knows but based off what I know about ha...
Nice...I will tell my girl to get me Heavy Rain for my birthday.
Yup...that's basically all you need to know.
That looks fantastic. I am very surprised. If that is game play, it will definitely get people's attention with those graphics.
"Those reports gave way to comments we received from a source familiar with the development of Project Natal who said that the peripheral would actually need to use up to 33 percent, a third, of the 360's CPU."
This is not a good sign for things to come. The last thing 360 games needs is less resources. All this means is that we won't see high end graphical games on project Natal.
I personally think they should do less talking and show proof...demonstrate real games.
Take a look at this video.

Simply amazing.
