I too found the story a bit... bland. Honestly, I was hoping for more of a 'fate of humanity' type storyline, rather than a Jim Raynor-centric storyline. It was good (better than mediocre), but not great. It just didn't have the epic feel it needed.
Sure, they tried with the Zeratul missions, but for me it was just too little to make much of a difference.
Don't get me wrong - I don't regret my purchase as I've sunk hours and hours...

Yeah, I'll second what Draperc says. You have to play as the female Shepard - especially if you love good voice acting! Definitely worth your time. I was actually shocked to see 80% playing the male Shepard because the female has (IMO) far better voice acting.
Totally agree. The voice acting for the female Shepard makes the male Shep sound a bit flat. I just couldn't go back afterward!
I haven't played it yet, but I would imagine this map would seriously favour the Terrans. Wonder how other races will cope with this...
I work at a University and I know that our library has video games. Then again, we offer a program in computer science (video game design).
It was ok - but I'm a bit torn on whether or not to recommend it. In my opinion, it didn't really add much to the story and cost too much for something that didn't even last an hour. That was the last paid DLC I picked up (until this one that is...)
As long as I can play Ovechkin and bust out some career ending knee-on-knee hits, it'll all be good.

80% play as the male Shepard? Then they are missing out! I honestly think that the female Shepard is where the quality voice acting is. Male Shepard just sounds so... boring and bland.
Although by the stats 80% of people disagree with me (or just never bothered to see what they are missing)
Seriously. The last progress I heard was that Act I was complete - but that was a long time ago. I just want a release date for this thing. I'm tired of forking over good money for substandard Diablo clones (I'm looking at your Sacred 2!) to fill my cravings!
