OK, OK, MS has big plans (for Kinect and such) right? Plans that will come to light within about 30 years. They have started to sell Kinect as a seed to that 30 year goal. What you mentioned is cool but also 30 years off of be worth while.

Digital is a pain in the butt. Everything (worth playing) with the 360 that is digital requires internet hooked up.
The reason that I said "Maybe Joe could buy a bigger MS Hard Drive" is because the MS hard drive might hold about 12 games. When you want to install that 13th game to your hard drive, you can't do it without the bigger hard drive. One of the 12 previous games will need to be deleted. No big deal right....Wrong.
When one game is deleted from the hard drive, you may want to play it in a week or two. So you will need the disk again of the game popped into the 720 f...

I agree that MS is a very smart company. I want to believe that they will give me a $5+ discount somehow because I have LIVE. I want to believe that they are overly prepared to put out the games and perhaps services that I want.
Granted these are rumours. To be clear, I do love my 360. I game about 85% on my 360. I have supported MS and buy most game for 360 and I have LIVE and like it.
About MS being always on. That can be taken two ways. First, a low power state that keeps your Xbox in an almost off state. This will allows your system to be accessed from anywhere and to do patches for your games without a manual installs (each by internet). It will also allow MS to try something Sony barely mention...
I would like to express. It is surely possible that everything that we have heard is a rumour. Sure MS is doing well and has a huge fan base. For example, I really do love MS. I pay for LIVE, and have been mostly OK with that.
